Do you enjoy rebuilding dynasty teams, but wish you could do it for cheaper? This league and it's upcoming rookie draft is for you!
Our league was a Phenoms victim a couple years back and now, it's third year has a commissioner committed to finding quality active owners. We are currently looking to replace multiple owners. All league rule, rosters, etc. are posted on the league page (URL at bottom of post).
The annual league buy-in is $206 (kept in LeagueSafe). The only part of the league fee that is not paid out each year is the $6 (goes toward the cost of the MyFantasyLeague site page). We are in a bit of a peculiar place right now because our previous commissioner did not take steps to prevent teams from dropping out penalty free. That's where you benefit. Here's how it works:
Visit our league URL and feel free to browse league rules and rosters. All teams with "Open" designations are currently available (you will notice a team name in parenthesis next to those teams, but disregard as it was just a way for me to easily distinguish and set our 2016 draft order). If you are interested in a team, email me your bid and which team you want with any questions or concerns. Some teams are good. Some are not. Obviously, your bid should not exceed $200 since that's full price, but we will consider any bid at or above $50.
So what's the catch? There are no catches except to say that it's a PPR league. But, here are our only disclosures: We are going to add $6 to whatever you bid because, as I said previously, those are the league fees that everyone pays for the site page. For example, if you buy a team for $200 then you will have league fees of $206. If you bid $75 then your league fees would be $81. The other requirement is that every owner has to pay for the next season ahead of time. So all of us current owners actually have $412 invested into LeagueSafe right now. That pays for 2016 AND 2017. The reason is simple. As the new commissioner, I want to make sure that the current situation we are in never happens again. We are looking for quality committed owners. So to be absolutely clear, that means if you win a bid on a team for $60, that means your total upfront cost will be $266, but it will also cover 2017. The following year's fee will always be due ten days before the rookie draft. I want to be as up-front as possible and also ensure that our league lives on for a long time.
