Dynasty PPR Rankings, please vote (2 Viewers)

Others have started thread in the past but still no rankings. FBG this is a popular format, why don't you provide rankings? I firgured I would start a thread early and hopefully get enough support.

PPR is ridiculous IMO.

My only beef with my FBG subscription is the lack of year round PPR DYNASTY information and rankings. It is to the point that there is much more information in the shark pool than what you get with the subscription service. If this does not change I can see many dropping the subscription and using the shark pool for information. Many have brought up the need for more PPR dynasty information but they do not seem to think this is an issue.

Thats your opinion but the bottom line is both PPR and dynasty have become much more main stream in FF.

I like Footballguys but would like to see more coverage of dynasty and PPR dynasty in the subscription area. There was more attention to it this year but I think dynasty is a large and growing segment of fantasy football.

It is, especially for die-harders, but I think the vast majority of people (and footballguys.com's business) are still in redraft. This board is frequented by big time fantasy football fans, and though many of them may play dynasty leagues, they are not representative of the more casual player.

I think dynasty PPR leagues differ so much on what the 'PPR' rules are that for most of us player rankings will have to be extrapolated from whatever FBG might post, just as they has to now from the basic basic rules rankings. It seems to me that so many PPR leagues now give 2 points to TEs, or .5 to RBs and WRs and 1 to TEs (like my 'PPR' league), or none or .5 to RBs, or something different than a straight 1 per reception that additional rankings wouldn't be that much more useful than the basic list - requiring extrapolation to your own league rules.

Dynasty rankings are already subject to so much individual adjustment before they are very useful, based on what kind of lineup you start, roster depth allowed, league scoring systems ... that they are awfully general by nature. I don't think you get much closer to a useable base to work from creating lists with a point per reception and facing the same huge range of variables. So for dynasty, I would rather the FBG staff members spend their time updating their current dynasty lists than making more lists which would almost certainly all be updated that much less often.

I love dynasty, just find that the leagues I've been in with PPR are not in line with NFL production.Maybe if PPR was done right I wouldn't mind it, but so far I haven't found an implementation I like.FTR, I think FBGs should post PPR and non-PPR rankings.

Im pretty sure FBG does PPR for dynasty and re-draft in fact Im sure of it, problem is not all staffers lend their thoughts

I totally agree - I have to subscribe to additional site (www.fantasyfootballxtreme.com) to get a lot of this additional info - It sure would be nice if we had it all under one roof here at FBG

FBG only has PPR rankings for re-draft not dynasty

Nope. That's why I started this thread in the off season. Plenty of time for them to start.
