Dynasty Ppr Trade - Walker&BJT for Brown&Nico? (1 Viewer)

I am in a 12 team TE Premium (1.5 TE ppr) ppr dynasty league. I was offered Chase Brown and Nico Collins for Brian Thomas Jr and Kenneth Walker during discussions and waiting on the formal offer.

I also have Charbonnet, not sure if the other owner will ask for both Walker and Charbonnet. I would if I was that team.

So two parts:
1. If the other owner asks for WAlker alone, would you move BTJ and Walker for Nico Collins and Chase Brown?
If this offer comes through, I’m leaning to yes as I am not guessing week to week between Charbonnet and Walker and have Nico and BTJ close, but BTJ higher with better offensive line play as it looked like Stroud was running for his life last week.

2. If it’s both Walker and Charbonnet are in the ask it would be Walker and Charbonnet and BJT being moved for Nico Collins and Chase Brown.
I am more hesitant with this one. I think no matter what happens this year barring injuries, one of Walker or Charbonnet walks and starts for someone else next year.
So should i still take the offer if it’s both Seattle backs in the ask? Or ask for another piece from their team in return?

Thanks for the support and analysis !

Starting with Part 1 - Yes, take this offer, for the exact reason uoi outline in Part 2. Yes, Nico had a rough week, but he is not that far behind BTJ. But Brown appears to be a major upgrade to Walker, both on the field and in our Dynasty Trade Value Chart. Plus, as you mentioned in Part 2, you get to keep the 2026 Seattle starting RB. Take this deal

Part 2 is rougher, and I am not making this deal straight up. I'd rather have BTJ and both Seattle backs. This will all depend on what else they are willing to kick in. A good third piece or maybe a 2nd Round pick might be enough to seal it.

Thank you so much for addressing both parts and for the analysis.

Regarding part 2: the owner has already traded his 2026 picks. The owner is not a fan of picks. The other pieces I was considering if they ask for both SEA backs is to ask for potentially Olave or Aiyuk. I like Olave over Aiyuk as I am not sure if Aiyuk will be himself until maybe fantasy playoff time. They do have Njoku and Engram, but not sure if they seal it for me, but it is 1.5 TE ppr league. I am leaning towards if they ask for both then staying where I am. What do you think?

Olave is intriguing. The talent is there, but the offense is questionable and his injury history is rough. I think you are right to decline if they want both

I agree Olave is intriguing! I luckily have a deep WR room is why I was leaning to passing if they wanted both. Thank you so much for the discourse!! Really appreciate the time and discussion!
