CLOSED - Brady

I went with Brady...obviously the Pats got rid of their security blanket for a reason...they feel Brady will be OK to start the year...now if they sign someone like Lefty or Garcia, I would be skeptical of his ability to rebound in the short-term.

Any chance to keep these polls open longer? I care more about the responses in the thread for why a person is voting someone more than the actual poll results. Since these are getting closed in a day, there isn't much discussion going on. Jmho

Not that he is going to win this current poll. But I am surprised the amount of love Cutler is getting.

What has this guy done to deserve such high praise? His career 17-20 record does not stand out. He has never won a big game. His new coaching staff isn't that high on him (maybe that's why they wanted to trade him). His #1 WR may miss more games to suspension, his go to TE is on the trading block.

I guess age and arm strength mean a lot in dynasty.

I would take Rivers over Cutler. Just my 2 cents.

Since this is FF, I'll go out on a limb to say Cutler's (or any QB) W/L record means less than zero. That being said, I voted for Brady. Recent goings-on in Denver have to knock Cutler down a few pegs here.

Good point. But I do think there is some long term relevance in terms of dynasty. Since we are talking about dynasty fantasy football - how long will a team allow their starting QB remain with a sub .500 winning percentage? If Cutler does not start winning this year he could be on a new team before long.BTW - I voted for Brady here. Not Rivers. I would probably take Brady, Romo, Roethlisberger, Rivers ahead of Cutler. And Rodgers and Ryan could make their own argument. Heck Matt Ryan has got his team to the playoffs in a much tougher division than the AFC West.

I am hoping that Jeter still does his polls at each position......some people just don't get it!

Brady, but after that it's wide open IMO between Rodgers, Rivers, Cutler, Ryan and even Ben will get some love.

1. The voting is closed not the thread.2. I take common sense into account....why keep open if the person is winning by a land slide?3. Is the point being served?4. I don't see you showing initiative.5. Some people just don't get it.

what, you don't think his comments add to the discussion? The post was extremely valuable, well thought out and pertinent. We are all wiser for having read it and he should run for President.

not sure how you can criticize Cutler's W/L record when their defense couldn't stop anything last year. Amazing that the kid has 2 years of football under his resume comparable to many great QB's, but people give him crap. Tough to win with no running game and even less D. Rivers wasn't winning ball games until their D turned around last yearI didn't vote for Cutler as I went Brady, but he's probably next. I own him and Rivers in 2 different dynasty leagues and I like Jay a little bit more
