Dynasty QB (After the Top 3) - Who's Impressed you so far? (1 Viewer)

So looking beyond the big 3 (Bortles, Bridgewater, and Manziel), what have been your thoughts on the other rookie QBs?

I've been able to catch a few games and I am interested in hearing what other people are thinking. So far, I've been thinking Carr, Garropolo and Mettenberger have looked pretty good.

Carr:

Thought he looked better than Schaub in the second preseason game. Granted it was against 2nd and 3rd screen, but seemed to be making good decisions. However, I am slightly concerned with the concussion Carr had in the second preseason game and was really hoping to see him in the 3rd week.

Mettenberger:

Mettenberger looked pretty good last week, but his mobility has me concerned. He had some great throws last week, but I just watch the hits at his legs thinking he is going to end up with a serious injury. Although, if Hunter continues to grow, he could have a nice future if he is the QB of the future in TEN.

Garropolo:

Moved the offense pretty well the other night. Looked decent and NE does well with their QB system. However, he is not going anywhere until Brady retires.

Thomas:

Heard nothing but good stuff about this kid. Has the prototypical size for a NFL QB, would be interested in what you guys are thinking.

Haven't seen much of anyone else, but curious what you guys have been seeing.

Garoppolo and Thomas are the obvious answers that have looked the part in their playing time. I haven't had a chance to see any of Savage, McCarron, Carr, or Murray though.

Yep. I'm slightly regretting trading away garapalo. Won't have much value in the next few years most likely but he has looked good so far.

It may be interesting to see if Murray beats out bray.

The problem is the wait. Carr has the best chance of getting on the field this year. The rest you wait for injury, trade or the starter truly stinking. I've held Mallett and Osweiler. It's frustrating.
