These are consensus dynasty rankings for year 2007 standard FBGs scoring no PPR

I like the chatter going on so lets keep that going as we vote. Discussion about why you prefer one of these players compared to the others is useful to everyone involved and offers insight into how people in your leagues may view these players compared to others.

gheemony made a great point about one way to consider dynasty value for players in rankings by giving 50% value to 2007, 33% to 2008, and 17% to 2009. I know there are many ways to look at this and how hard it is to project for players even for one year. But I think it is significant enough that its worth mentioning. I am sure everyone has a different formula that they might use. But this one to me has some good balance and makes a lot of sense. Where does Jacobs fit for you in that group? He looked very good this year and has nothing currently in his way for 2007.Personally, I think Jamal Lewis goes before any of these guys.

First off, I am not optimistic on Jacobs. I duobt his ability to shoulder the load. Maybe I am overly optimistic, but I think Norwood and Lewis will ave similar opportunity for fantasy points. Yes, Lewis came on toward the end of the season, but I would rather take a chance on a young RB who "could" be special. This is why I came down to Norwood and Turner.

He will be added. This is the 1st time someone has spoken up in favor of Thomas Jones. I guess most people think Benson will be taking over as the main Bears Rb next year.

It's going to be interesting what happens with Turner this offseason. I expect the Chargers to keep him. But I think he lands a starting gig in 2008 and will be very successful from then on. Using a 3 year based on those expectations would place him above several of the Rbs here. I don't think I would vote for him quite yet based off of that however. If he does play in 2007 he will probobly be worth a higher ranking than #25 though.
