These are consensus dynasty rankings for year 2007 standard FBGs scoring no PPR

If you vote other, please specify.

Also, please comment on your vote, and list any player that should be nominated for the next round.

I like the chatter so lets keep that going as we vote.

Link to poll #8 http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...howtopic=292936

The vote was too close between Brian Westbrook and Kevin Jones. There also was a late surge of votes in favor of Reggie Bush that makes me wonder.. So what I decided to do is run this poll with all 3. Winner take all and will throw back the other 2 in the poll for the #9 slot.

1. Ladainian Tomlinson

2. Larry Johnson

3. Steven Jackson

4. Shaun Alexander

5. Clinton Portis

6. Frank Gore

7. Ronnie Brown

Vote Other: Maroney

He looks like a monster, plus Dillon is old (33 next year). BB hill run Maroney for the next 10 years. He is what Stephen Jackson was last year with Faulk giving way.

Maroney = Future STUD (starting next year). :D

I vote Maroney too.

Westbrook, great but older (this is a dynasty ranking not re-draft.

Kevin Jones , Fumbler plus bad runner but good a receiving

Bush, one good game, and shares with Deuce.

Dillon will be gone or play the insurance roll like Steven Davis for Stephen Jackson.

Glad everyone disagree's with the run off choices. :D

If you check the link you will see how we have gotten to this point and why there isn't a other option on this one. That is unless you think we should just rerun the original poll over?

Voted FWP in that one too. :football:

The fact that people don't seem smart enough to understand and follow simple instructions makes me question the value of this entire exercise. Hopefully they're just a vocal minority.

be in my league?
Happily. FWP is the #5 fantasy RB, is extremely young, and on one of the most runningest teams in the history of the NFL. But I can see why you wouldn't want that.

I voted for K.Jones. However, I have both FWP and Jones...and I'm going to keep FWP unless they draft someone to fill Bettis's role. FWP is #3 in our league. He has 9 Rushing Tds and 3 Rec TD. He might not be the receiver that Jones is, but he is a much better runner and gets into the endzone more.

For this to be valid you need more choices. Mcgahee, Maroney etc... need to be on here, otherwise you are not getting a true picture.

There was only a "Bettis role" because there was a BETTIS!! He was a unique, HOF talent. Top 5 all-time NFL RB. They seem to be quite content with FWP assuming primary and goal line duties, what with the 9 Rush TD's and all. BTW, FWP has 3 Rec TD's to K Jones' ONE, on about half the number of receptions. :)

Results:

Brian Westbrook [ 68 ] ** [38.64%]

Kevin Jones [ 54 ] ** [30.68%]

Reggie Bush [ 54 ] ** [30.68%]

Westbrook wins, then a tie.
