For those of you who own the 1.05 rookie pick in your dynasty league, or those that would like to own it, who are you taking?

Feel free to take your league rules and other details into account, as they are not specified. PPR, scarcity of RBs and obviously, team need would affect each vote.

1.01 Michael Crabtree, WR 38% (Moreno, 27%)

1.02 Knowshon Moreno, RB 62% (Wells, 17%)

1.03 Chris Wells, RB 45% (McCoy, 35%)

1.04 LeSean McCoy, RB 71% (Greene, 17%)
In that case, would you please consider adding TE prospects into the choices?

2008 was a great year for Rookie RB, it was an awesome class.

2009 is not nearly the same class, it isn't really even close when it comes to RB.

The WR talent in 2009 is much better than it was in 2008. The QB's are close if not better.

Folks will hope for the RB class to be the same, and be taking lesser RB's over quality WR and QB. This is the year to build those positions, IMO.

2008 rookie RB class wasn't considered great at this time last year. With that said I highly doubt any class now, in the future or in the past turned out as good as 2008. The only blue chipper was DMac and he hasn't been what made the 08 class great as of yet. Looking at the RB/WR combined at this time last year and right now 2009 class looks much better to me, we have 3-4 blue chip WRs this year and had none last year, WR depth is fantastic this season.

I don't see how the QB class is better especially now that Bradford is staying at OU. The top 2 QBs taken started all year, had several multi-TD games, and look like they have their jobs secured for the next 10 years. It is rare for one rookie QB to do that.

The top of the WR class will be better. But I can't see taking Maclin or Harvin, as much as I like them, over a potential beast like Greene. I have the 5th pick in a non-PPR league where I really need a stud WR and have tremendous depth at RB (Westy, DeAngelo, MBarber, RBush, RBrown, Pierre, RRice) and I will still take Greene if available.

Glad to add them next time around. Who would it be with Gresham staying?

Pettigrew, I see your comments on him above, but in TE heavy leagues it seems any TE taken early get early consideration in the rookie draft.

Pettigrew > Gresham
STRONGLY disagree. Pettigrew LOOKS like he should be a better player, but it doesn't translate on the field. Pettigrew had 1 TD this year......ONE. I don't care how good your team's #1 WR is, if you're a top tier college TE and considered the best TE in the country, the ball should be getting in your hands and seeing the end zone more than once. The games I've watched Pettigrew I was completely left unimpressed....not a very good route runner and had trouble with concentration on catches. For as physically gifted as he is, he just doesn't look like a natural receiver. He'll be drafted higher due to his blocking skills which I could care less about as a FF owner.Pettigrew is a TE in a TE's body.Gresham is a WR in a TE's body.

My comment was meant less as an endorsement of Pettigrew and more as an indictment of Gresham.

Gresham is able to dominate at the college level because he's big and fast in a straight line, but he doesn't have the agility to become a top flight receiving TE in the NFL. He's more like Jerramy Stevens and Leonard Pope and less like Winslow/Shockey/Witten/Cooley/Keller.

I would agree with this to some extent, but he's better than Jerramy Stevens and Leonard Pope. I'd put him more along the lines of a Marcedes Lewis if I was to make a comparison.I do agree that he'll never be in the top tier TE group. With that being said, Gresham is still better then Pettigrew.

I recall many thinking by now that the 2008 RBs were very deep. I actually think that 2009 RBs will be underrated BECAUSE of 2008. Drop off after the next RB Shonn Greene.
