Dynasty Start Up Draft help/tips superflex (1 Viewer)

I have 12 pick in a 12 team dynasty league, and am looking for tips or strategy to drafy from the 12 spot or in general. League is 1QB, 3RB, 5wt/te, 1 superflex, 2 flex

Scoring is .4pts passing td. -4 per int, .025 per passing yard 1pt per 25 yards,  -.1 per sack yard lost. 6pt rushing and receiving td, .5 ppt, .25 TE premium, .5 rushing 1st down, .5 receiving 1st down.

I know its 3rb and superflex but im leaning going WR, WR at the turn depending on who is there as i figure top rbs and qbs will be gone. Anyone have any luck from 12 recently.

Based on the lineup requirements listed you do not have to play a TE.  Is that correct?

Bottom line it's as simple as putting the work into a combined draft board and then taking the guy at the top of your list when it's your turn to pick.  Don't force a position.  Trust your combined draft board and take the guy at the top when you are picking.

If you put in the time to really be sure about your draft board you can't go wrong.  That is the best approach in this situation.

On a side note, if this is a dynasty start up draft your league is doing a disservice by having a draft.  It should be an auction so that every team has a chance at every player.  When building a dynasty team every owner should be able to get the player they want if they want them bad enough.  A snake draft really hinders you from making the team you want.  It is really a terrible way to start a dynasty league.

You are correct TEs are grouped in with WR so taking a Kelce or Weller doesnt give you the same positinal advantage it once did.

Some of us would have liked to do an auction draft but it just didn't pan out with the group we have as far as schedule conflicts so snake draft it is.

Ill be double checking my draft board but fear i may reach for a couple of guys at 12 and 13 who i like more long term than win now.

Then you need to factor that into your draft board.  All of that matters and should factor into the "value" of each player.   My only caution is that the point is to win the league so pushing off for too much future can put you into a situation where you always play for next year and next year never comes.  I try and look at 2 year increments because things change to fast to rely on anything longer than that.
