Dynasty start-up mock draft (1 Viewer)

changed pick to DeSean Jackson
Thats dirty :wall: J/KSteelcity, you will need to pick a different player.
I was wondering the policy here. In other drafts here (on FBG), if a player is chosen that has already been drafted, the draft continues and the following owners can pick, which is what Steel did. Does not really matter to me, I guess we just needed a ruling.

JEEEZ I changed it like less than two minutes after I picked. If SteelCity wants DeSean I change mine to Marshall. If not I want DeSean. Whatever you guys decide, it was my screwup so I accept either outcome. I was coin-flipping tween those two anyway.

3.02 Brandon Marshall, WR, Miami. Having Jackson pulled out from under me, I took the next WR on my list. Mashall is a player. Might have even have a better attitude now, and I think Henne can be an above average QB.

Really does not matter to me, just wanted to be sure what our "rule" was.

3.03 Shonn Greene- I am not a big fan of his, but I think he is one of the few remaining bell cow RBs. The Jets offense produced one of the top RBs in football the past couple of years with T Jones and behind that O line, Greene should step in and take over with similar production.

Tough call, both guys should have known Gore was gone. So it was just as much Steelcitys fault as Sholditch. Although i can see an argument the other way. I dont want to hold up the draft with hthis however. Sttelcity, is it a big deal to you that you have to choose another player? Sholditch, is it a big deal to take a different player? hopefully you two can come to a reasonable solution...and qucikly.

Are you guys both fine with the current picks then? please say yes so we can move on. :hifive:

OK, steel took the high road (classy bro) and let me keep DeSean so that is my pick. Good.

Sent lists to jeter23 and Go deep for picks up to round 8. Enjoy your 4th of July fella's!!!!! Thanks guys for taking care of my selections...it is so much appreciated!!!!

Rody

I believe it's me now...

3.04 I wanted Marshall. Then that little snafu snatched out from under me! Now I'll go with the same plan, but a different player...

Sidney Rice, WR MIN

Absolutely love this guy. Big, long arms, sticky fingers, agressive, and extremely young still.

Nice one, gave him some serious thought, just like Philly and Miami's long-term outlook a little better since they both have their QBs of the future in place.

I really thought/hoped he would make it to my next pick. :lmao:

Would anybody mind since no other picks have been made if I change the last selection? After thinking about it all day at work, I wasn't satisfied with how I ranked my players and the three guys at the top of my list were Marshall, Roddy and Greene.

3.05 J-Dawg selects WR Miles Austin, DAL

I hope it's alright to change this selection, if not, I'll accept Grant.

In all fairness, i think you would have to keep Grant. I have people that left draft lists thinking that Grant was off the board and Austin was still on the board.

It became Gandalas' turn at 5:50 pm EDT. Eight hours are now up and we don't close for the night until 2 am EDT. Does that mean Gandalas has missed his turn and its now mine (Catbird's)? And IIRC, Gandalas can jump in at any time hereafter to make his Round 3 pick?

3.07 JAHVID BEST, RB, DET

Really putting the team down for the future with this one. Looking to be tough in '11. High risk of the unknown (and injury) with high reward potential. Two Lions not ideal, but position disparity might lead to more balanced production week-in-week-out than the feast or famine of a QB/WR duo.

If a player misses a pick, we use the MFL ADP to pick for him.

Sorry - I was drinking tonight...was not on the computer since I got off work at 4PM until now...

Draft list :goodposting:

3.8 - Greg Jennings, WR, GB

Was actually hoping Austin was gonna fall a little bit more but Jennings is not too much of a drop off for me. I was between three guys here but I believe fantasy football is going a little bit away from workhorse RB's to stud WR's. WR's typically last a while longer and make more sense in a dynasty format. Jennings has perhaps the #1 dynasty QB throwing him the ball for possibly a long time and that doesn't hurt. Jennings is still very young and hopefully the packers resign him to be Rodgers #1 target for the next 7+ years.

(I'm fairly drunk so I hope this makes sense...)

Guys, I am about to be on the road for at least four hours. I have not made a draft list so there's nothing to send. I'll check back before I go but looks like we won't get to the 4/5 turn before I get there. I will have access at beach.

3.10 go deep selects Vincent, Jackson, WR, SD

He is my 6th ranked WR, and his holdout allowed my to get him at the end of the 3rd round.

Once Donsmith picks, we should be able to knock out a few picks. I have the next few peoples drafts lists. Plus me and Mr Peterson are both around.

Hey guys sorry for the wait, was having dinner.

3.11 Hakeem Nicks

Love Nicks potential. He had a respectable year last year playing with an injured foot and I expect him to improve on that this year. I liked what I saw from him in terms of big play ability and don't believe those that say Eli will regress this year.

4.02 Cedric Benson

Not really sure over this pick. If we'd been able to trade draft picks I might have looked to move back in this situation. I needed a runner and took the top guy left for me. Worried slightly that he's got quite a load of miles on him but he's one of the few lone backs left in the league and think the improvement in Cincys weapons could actually help him a bit.

4.03 Go deep selects Marques Colston, WR, NO. (Suprised he made it this far, gives me a solid #1 in case Jackson sits a while. Gives me a great pair when Jackson comes back. Colston may not have top 5 upside, but he has one of the lowest floors of any WR not named Andre)

4.5 - Dez Bryant, WR, DAL

Man, this was a tough decision. I was between Dez and a couple other guys and I just could not decide. But the fact that we have to start three WR's made the decision for me. Dez is a little bit of an unknown right now. Everyone knows he has the talent but how will he be used? Will he possibly take over Austin as Romo's #1? Even if he doesn't I still think there will be plenty of targets for Bryant to be successful. This is a dynasty and you can not ignore how talented he is and how much potential he might have.

good pick, and good write-up. I wish more people would post their thoughts.

Oops. Got a little bit ahead of myself there for a moment. I will note that the order on the OP list says Catbird is next - although Gandalas picking 6 should have that honor. Patience Grasshopper.

Guys, I was just out running an errand and now I have an appointment to view a suite for rent and don't have time to make a list at the moment and I don't want to make a rushed one without properly looking at how's available. I shouldn't be longer than a couple of hours though, if it gets to my pick I apologize in advance.
