1st question.

I don't know much more about DF's than what they are THIS year. I have the Bills and Buccs. Are either of them young DF's on the rise? are both? Or are they already there kind of thing and what I see is what I get? (I don't really want to keep carrying both unless it turns out both teams are on the ups as they are both pretty good right now, and they have great ending schedules so I'll keep them until I'm either out of champ but then I plan to drop one)??

Other question:
Are any of these guys worth keeping still

Osweiller (We are a 2 Qb league with a 5 roster max, there is no QB's on the wire at all so I keep him just in case he turns it around next year)

Matt Jones (I paid for him, does he have a shot at becoming a starter again somewhere?)

Langford (As far as handcuffs go, he could be one of th ebest around right now with a shot at starting again in the future?)

Ginn (I picked him up last week just in case I need him in the playoffs still this season, but are Inman or Garcon better options?)

R Woods (?? any better than the ones on the wire?)

Inman, Garcon, Rex Burkhead, Dwayne Wash are on WW but not sure I should bother dropping anyone for one (I kind of want Inman, but not sure who to cut)

???

I wouldn't worry about keeping team defenses.  They vary from year to year drastically and it's much better to take a chance on a RB or WR with upside over a defense.

I wouldn't have any issue with dropping Jones or Langford for the right upside play.  I would rather have Dwayne Washington than either of them.

As far as Inman goes, he is just a guy.  I don't think he has any huge upside but he is solid and I wouldn't have an issue picking him up over Jones or Langford.

Yea, I am keeping both DF's until this year is over (We have the dreaded week 17 super bowl :P   and both Tampa and Buff have good week 16 / 17 schedules) but I will drop 1 of them the moment my season ends

Cutting Jones and Langford for Inman and D Wash is probably the right thing to do, but ARGH, I paid for Jones and used a decent pick on Langford, it hurts to have to cut them, but as I always say in my hockey pool when people try to use draft position in trade negotiations, as soon as game 1 happens draft position is irrelevant! make decisions based on today, not what you paid yesterday!!

THX for the insight! :-)

Do you have to keep a defense?  I would much rather use that spot on a RB/WR because those are much harder to find in dynasty leagues.

As far as paying for Jones/Langford, as you said, that is irrelevant.  Injuries and the other guy taking charge played these guys out of having any value.  I don't know how many times I am kicking myself for not moving Langford in the off season.  I had some decent offers but he was a cheap RB with some upside so it was worth keeping at the time even though I wanted to move him.  Oh well.  Time to move on.....hahaha

Good Luck!
