KWII, as long is Frye is the QB, he seems to lock onto Winslow as his goto guy; if that comes into jeopardy then Gates takes the top stop

Agreed. I also think the gap between #1 and #10 has closed. TE is very deep right now.

Went Gates. I just can't vote for a guy who says "I'm a soldier" but is on IR for his first 2 seasons.

Think Gonzo is on the decline. I'd like to see Heap play a couple full seasons. I like Shockey as my #2. Then Crumpler. From there, there is a sizable dropoff to alot of potential guys like ben watson, witten, lj smith, etc.

I think the primary reason for Gates' decline in stats this year is because LT is having a record breaking year. Once LT goes back to only scoring 20 td's ( )), Gates will get his. KW seems to be banged up alot as well, so Gates is my clear #1.

Despite his potential for injury, Heap always seems to wind up in the Top 4 or 5 every year. And he always seems to be available after 6 or 7 TEs have already been drafted.

What evidence do you have for this statement? In 2004-2005, Gates averaged 99 VBD points. Gonzo had similar numbers in 2002-2003 and 1999-2000. In 2006 the gap won't be that large because there isn't one stand-out TE, but it seems a lot more likely that 2006 is an aberration than it does that 2002-2005 was an aberration.

I'm curious to know the 5-6 othe TE that get drafted before him in your league?I took him 2nd TE this year behind gates and am still happy with this selection. I have Gates as #1 to awnser the question of this pole.

I was going to ask the same thing. The dynasty leagues Im in he goes #2 or #3.
