These are consensus dynasty rankings for year 2007 standard FBGs scoring no PPR

If you vote other, please specify.

Also, please comment on your vote, and list any player that should be nominated for the next round.

I like the chatter going on so lets keep that going as we vote. Discussion about why you prefer one of these players compared to the others is useful to everyone involved and offers insight into how people in your leagues may view these players compared to others.

gheemony made a great point about one way to consider dynasty value for players in rankings by giving 50% value to 2007, 33% to 2008, and 17% to 2009. I know there are many ways to look at this and how hard it is to project for players even for one year. But I think it is significant enough that its worth mentioning. I am sure everyone has a different formula that they might use. But this one to me has some good balance and makes a lot of sense. And now has become a topic of discussion in this thread: http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...howtopic=296123 I welcome you all to read this and offer your perspectives on methods you use in determining where to rank players in dynasty leagues.

I went with Eric Johnson this time, even with the injury. I changed after re-considering his success in the past ... even at the expense of the injury history.

His injuries that wiped out 2003 and 2005 were fluke- broken collarbone, and torn plantar fascia. Gotta figure a similar uncommon injury won't happen with him again, but there's always the knees. :goodposting:

I know. He is a walking MASH unit, but can deliver at a good price

bump for more votes.

And thanks OZ for keeping this moving. Things been kind of hectic for me recently and that is just building momentum.

Runoff! But seriously, I wouldn't rush to close the polls on TE's just yet. I have been taking a break from the grind and only visiting the forum about once a week. I do believe many knowledgeable opinions have also chosen to 'unplug' as it were. It is the off season of FF and so I don’t see the need to rush to any conclusions. especially about TE #30. I for one am in a 16 team dynasty and we are still talking about relevent players, in my league at least.

Edited for more opinion!

Well Baker probobly does deserve to be slotted and Miller if he lands in a good situation might be decent as well.

Our talking about discontinuing the TE polls has more to do with timliness and lack of interest from voters so far.

These polls are meant to be used as a tool for dynasty players in early offseason trading. I expect a new set of polls will be done later in the offseason perhaps shortly after the NFL rookie draft when most of the free agency is complete and rookie situations are better known.

At that point maybe we could go 30 TE deep. But IIRC OZ did not do dynasty TE polls before.

I am hoping these will lead to a conclushion sometime soon so we can do a comparison thread with the last set of polls and see how peoples perspectives have changed since then. Early comparisons showed that things have changed a lot more than they probobly should after only one season of play.

We did TEs last year. We probably went about this deep.
