I voted Rivers, TE, Hou. He is coming on a ton lately - pretty much under the radar. He was a very good college TE who could not (obviously) make it in NYG as Shockey's back up.

Good thought here, but I am not sure over Bergen ...

Bergen has played well. I do not question anyone who would vote that way. I see Rivers as a sleeper, especially at this stage of TEs. He is better than many on the list.

Vernon Davis should be much much higher - equal to Pope and maybe even a little higher than him. I would happily trade any TE ranked 19 or lower on that list for Davis straight up and not blink an eye.

Bloom, will you give us an overview of Davis? Most of us aren't as in touch with college ball as you are.

A quick overview of all 3:Lewis - Basically your classic Big WR, but slightly bigger, so he lines up at TE. pure receiver - too slight to be a good blocker at this point.

Pope - Great potential, but yet to put it together. has the physical attributes to be dominant, and is coming out of a good TE program (produced Watson and McMichael recently). more of a project that a finished product.

Davis - not as tall as Pope or Lewis, but possibly has more upside than either. he's got more ideal frame for blocking (63 250), in addition to great strength, and soft hands. Stock could soar in workouts, and im hearing more and more people say he's the best TE in this draft if he comes out. If his workouts indicate are ben watson-esque (total strength/speed/athleticism package), he could leapfrog lewis and pope.

At this point the TE pool is a bunch of guys who are either:1. possible bye week fill-ins2. young & unknownSince we're on TE #3 in most leagues at this point, I'm all youth & upside from here out, with the exception of Heiden. I'd really like to see him added, since if Winslow is done, he's a TE that actually produces, although his upside is from something beyond his control.

Historical threads rulez...They're interesting.
Don't pee in the pool. One thread was a multi-page discussion making concrete predictions for where current runners would rank in 6 years, which was then bumped 6 years later. Then you had this thread, which was a half dozen posts deciding whether the 31st best dynasty TE was a vet nobody liked or a college player no one had ever heard of. But by all means, feel free to throw a temper tantrum whenever one of the myriad members of the pool isn't following each and every one of your rules for posting in the SP. It's not the slightest bit childish to decide whenever you feel the slightest bit inconvenienced that the best response is to intentionally attempt to inconvenience/annoy every other person in the entire community. :sarcasm:
