Dynasty Tiers (1 Viewer)

Interesting read. Some good stuff and some bad.

Too high on Joique Bell and Latavius Murray.

I'd still rather have Fitzgerald than guys like Randle and Hilton. I'd also take Harvin over almost all of that third tier.

Luke Willson seems too high (and I've got him on a lot of my teams).

Never gonna agree with everything though. I at least agree with most of the top tier selections (I'd probably bump out Charles and maybe Bernard though).

Yeah my thinking is pretty close to yours. Didn't like a lot of his tier break ups, often involving players I own. I have Luke Wilson on 2 of my 4 dynasty teams, he's way too high, Reuben Randle also on 2 of 4 teams, I can hope but I think he's too high as well. Lot of other players caught my eye as being way too high, both in how I value them and how I think league mates would value them.

Obviously some extremely young thinking here with rankings of guys like peyton and lynch and Christine Michael but I always like to see some tiering.
Also don't see Tavon, Maclin or Roddy.
Well I could understand if the writer doesn't like Tavon, I don't see him doing much with his career except as a returner. Maclin I thought I saw on there. Roddy is at the end of the line in my opinion and only has a short period of time left.

We can talk all day about players we disagree with on this list, but the real discussion is the use of tiers. I think Nathan did a good job of explaining that and identifying the tier drops, based on his rankings. Like he said, I have the tiers in my mind, but am just starting to add tiers to my actual posted rankings.

Nice attempt but the delivery failed. And people have been using tiers for over a decade--so it is a good practice but nothing new.

I own Justin Hunter and am very high on him, but I would never put him in the third tier of WRs and Patterson in the second tier is really laughable. This is basically true of all of last year's top rookie WRs--all too high.

For the RBs, how does Trent Richardson end up in the second tier? I would move him down and Ball and Morris up to the second tier. Gerhart should be in the third tier. Foster should not be in the fourth tier--not sure if he belongs in third or second, but definitely not fourth.

I am terrible at design but I would never include a GIF of a table in a website. What century is this?

Tier dropoff discussion at the end is truth.
