Just another FF player with his version of a top 25 dynasty non-PPR RB list. Please share your thoughts.

1. Peterson: Has the potential to be one of the best to ever play the game.

2. S. Jackson: Still young and a beast. Play of the team must improve.

3. Tomlinson: What a pleasure to watch. Offense better with the addition of Chambers.

4. L. Johnson: The O-line/QB play will have to be better for this ranking to play out. Still a beast with the ball in his hands. Gailey is a good hire for LJ.

5. Westbrook: This guy is the Eagles. Has the heart and determination of a champion.

6. Addai: I’m not a huge Addai ability fan but can’t argue with the situation/opportunity he’s in.

7. M. Barber: Not flashy. Just gets the job done. Cowboys are a much better team with him on the field.

8. W. Parker: Will produce the yardage. Needs to get back to 8-10 tds to support this ranking.

9. Lynch: Should improve as the team does.

10. McFadden: Has plenty of ability to warrant this ranking. The question is where does he land?

11. Gore: Still have my doubts about team/durability. Has proven to be a stud on the field.

12. Bush: I think 15-18 touches a game is enough for Bush. I also think he better off with a sidekick in the backfield.

13. Ronnie Brown: This was a hard choice because of injury/usage concerns. Showed the ability to be special in the first part of last year.

14. Portis: Solid numbers every year.

15. Turner: May move this guy up depending where he’s playing next year.

16. Stewart: Just didn’t see a vet left with the upside of Stewart.

17. Grant: Still not completely sold on Grant.

18. Mendenhall: See Stewart.

19. Maroney: Was better in the second half of the season. Pats will still be pass first offense.

20. D. Williams: I believe he will finally get his chance to get the lion share of the carries.

21. Jones-Drew: Talented! Will he get enough opportunities?

22. Felix Jones: See Stewart

23. McGahee: Posted good numbers. I just don’t see the explosiveness to be special.

24. Lendale White: If he were to focus on getting into shape he could be top 15.

25. Graham: With the potential of Caddy being out next year Graham could prove that he belongs.

LJ too high- cant put a 29 year old RB with the stats he put up last year that high

Gore too low- put any kind of team around him and he's a beast

MJD way too low- guy is a good fantasy back in a RBBC, carries can only go up.

Parker too high- Steelers o-line looks to be bottom 5. He needs a hole to be effective, not gonna see many. Also not much of a factor on the goalline or in the passing game

Portis too low- money every year

McGahee too low- How is DeAngelo above him?

my opinion

Guys I'm higher on than you - Addai, Lynch, Gore, Drew

Top 4 rookie picks seem to have a ton of value with the age of current NFL RBs.

LJ too high- cant put a 29 year old RB with the stats he put up last year that high: Will be 29 in Nov.(younger then Tominson) has less then 1000 carries on his body vs 2000 for Tomlinson.

Gore too low- put any kind of team around him and he's a beast: I agree

MJD way too low- guy is a good fantasy back in a RBBC, carries can only go up. Carries should go up but we will see.

Parker too high- Steelers o-line looks to be bottom 5. He needs a hole to be effective, not gonna see many. Also not much of a factor on the goalline or in the passing game

Portis too low- money every year. I just see longer production from those above him.

McGahee too low- How is DeAngelo above him? Just a gut feeling about D. Williams.

my opinion
Thanks for the feedback.

I'm not as high on LJ, Parker, or McFadden. Maroney, McGahee, and MJD seem a little low.

Grant will be a real wild card this offseason. He looks great when you look at the statistics, but I'm not yet sold on him as a long-term starting talent in the NFL. He seems like a boom-or-bust pick.

Ronnie Brown is the same age as Portis and just tore his ACL - would anyone actually trade away Portis to get Ronnie Brown?

4. L. Johnson: The O-line/QB play will have to be better for this ranking to play out. Still a beast with the ball in his hands. Gailey is a good hire for LJ.

This seems way too high to me. As mentioned above he is a lot older than most people seem to think. I love his talent but I think it just took too long for him to get his shot. If he had gotten his opportunity a year or two earlier he could have had one of the greatest runs ever.

7. M. Barber: Not flashy. Just gets the job done. Cowboys are a much better team with him on the field.

8. W. Parker: Will produce the yardage. Needs to get back to 8-10 tds to support this ranking.

These both seem to be a bit high to me. I probably wouldn't move Barber down much but I think 2006 is the outlier season for Parker not 2007. He will be a decent yardage low touchdown back for a few years and then be replaced.

10. McFadden: Has plenty of ability to warrant this ranking. The question is where does he land?

I'm not a big believer in McFadden and think he should probably be five or so spots lower.

11. Gore: Still have my doubts about team/durability. Has proven to be a stud on the field.

Love Gore's talent and think he should be at least up ahead of Barber if not higher on your list.

16. Stewart: Just didn’t see a vet left with the upside of Stewart.

Sure would like to know where he is going to play first. I'd probably take all the rookies down a few notches from where you have them.

21. Jones-Drew: Talented! Will he get enough opportunities?

This seems absurd to me. Should be at least ten spots higher. In my dynasty league scoring system he has finished 7th and 12th in his first two years. I think he is Westbrook 2.0 (now with short yardage responsibility).

23. McGahee: Posted good numbers. I just don’t see the explosiveness to be special.

Not a big deal because I've really never been a fan of his but I would probably take him before any of the rookies, with the possible exception of McFadden.

24. Lendale White: If he were to focus on getting into shape he could be top 15.

That may be true but at this point I think we've seen the best he can do and I would only expect things to get worse.

That was why I put hard choice. Not sure I would trade Portis for Brown right now. However, I believe Brown could have a longer shelf life then Portis.

I like Portis more, but I could see the argument for Brown if he comes back healthy. Yes, they are both 26, but Portis has spent 2 more years in the league and Brown was in RBBC in college, not to mention missing a lot of this season. Very low mileage.
