Dynasty Trade Question (1 Viewer)

First year doing dynasty. 12 Team league. Superflex. Start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, WRT, WRT, WRT, WRTQ.

I am sitting at 7-2 and am in first place. At what point, if at all, do I try to upgrade on a potential championship run? I'm looking at some of the lower teams for older players they might want to unload. I don't see many that would make a difference on my team except for Davante Adams on the 9th place team. What is the type of offer teams send out for guys like that? Also, should I be looking for a RB as well?

The answer is...............constantly. Never think you are good enough.

Usually it's a future pick.......like a 2025 2nd rounder. You could offer that up for Adams and see if he bites.

Also, should I be looking for a RB as well?

Yes, you should always be looking for RB's. What type of RB kind of depends on you. You are pretty solid in the near term but the room is pretty old in general. Might want to look at getting younger at some point.

J. Smith

Way, way too many TE's especially since you have LaPorta. You don't need Hurst or Smith and likley Ertz. Drop them for WR and RB dart throws. Those are more valuable than a TE you will never, ever play.

Thanks for the detailed reply.

I put some of the TEs on the trade block to see if anyone is interested. It si TE premium, so who knows?

I get the getting younger at RB sentiment, but with 25 player rosters plus IR and 3 player taxi squads, it's hard to find someone that is young and not on someone's roster somewhere.

Mooney is on the trade block. 27 years old. Is he worth a future 2nd if Adams is not available?

I think so. He is a solid WR and in a great spot. He has a few years of usefulness left in him.
In terms of future picks, we have rounds 1-5 set up for rookie drafts. Are rounds 4 and 5 pretty much worthless?

I put my TEs on the trade block. I got offered Ty Johnson and a 2025 5th for Ertz. I'm not too enthused about Johnson or a 5th. He has Tyler Goodson, who is young, so I might counter to have him included instead, but the 5th seems to be irrelevant to the trade package.

Great advice especially the repeated … yes and always. That’s the fun in dynasty. You can always improve either for now or the future.
