Where did it go?
Looking back on week nine's post, I think it'll be here: http://subscribers.footballguys.com/2008/0...astywatch10.phpright now, it comes back as "page not found"DING DING DING
someone else noticed ...
I noticed on WED night .. it was listed for posting on WED night .. all other content was posted ... BUT THE DYNASTY WATCH . .magically disappeared .. and never came back
Asked around Jeff T ( one of the writers ) told me he did indeed do some writing but he isnt personally in charge of the posting .. I messaged DODDS to find out where it magically disappeared to .. no answer
we all covered that the " watch " this year was a little lacking in the DEEP sleepers for some reason .. maybe they just ran out of guys to talk about . LOL . .
( just busting balls .. i always appreciate the work guys )
A delicate balance needs to exist here. Some leagues are insanely deep (16 teams, 53+ man rosters) while others are 20-25 players and 12 teams. Not everyone is looking for the practice squad guys. Some are wondering who the heck Peyton Hillis is (I mentioned him this week in the Week 10 column). The guys you mention are worth consideration in big leagues, but not 12x20s.As for Morgan, probably a tad late for a big profile, but in a league where you might question picking him up or not, that description there might push you to grabbing him. Granted if 60-75 WRs are already rostered he could be gone, but sometimes we tend to cover guys getting opportunities at this point of the year who were well off the redraft radar prior to August.I'll try and go deeper the rest of the way of the season unless we get a "who?" who gets a shot.THE U I do kinda agree with him ... I addressed this in another post a week or so ago the DYNASTY watch article was for " deep sleepers " and as was discussed in the other post the " deep sleepers that were being talked about were at times laughable " D.Stanton - Josh Morgan - not really deep sleepers .... I commented how it seemed that the DYNASTY WATCH article really had become the " lets get this article done and move along type " didnt seem to be much research involved .. Jeff T and Bloom both commented in the other post and said that indeed maybe a little " deeper " digging would happen and last week you could see a little bit of it ( D.Savage to alot of owners was a unknown ) I guess my piont has been and always will be that a article like this should be about players the CASUAL / WEEKEND WARRIOR doesnt know .. ( josh morgan i would say is rostered in 99 % of dynasty leagues and possibly even 50 % of redraft leagues ) lets hope the shovels are digging for week # 11 content since it appears week # 10 was garbaged ... ( raising hand hoping that at some piont a DYNASTY section will start ..and if FBG needs it --- some of us DEEP DYNASTY guys help out .. I cant wait to talk about Chauney Washington, RB-L.Hamilton , Qb-Alex Brink , J.Parmalee, QB-Paul Smith )
Andrew Garda talked about him on this week's Drive Block.Washington has NFL quality physical ability. His workout was a real head turner after a pretty undistinguished career at USC. I was also surprised that Jacksonville drafted and then kept Washington on the roster. I expected Greg Jones to hold down the #2 role once Taylor went into the sunset, and the way the Jags regarded him in the past and used him at the end of 2007 seemed to point in that direction, not to mention the money he got in the offseason, which was unprecedented for a fullback. Alas, when Taylor got his bell rung by Nate Webster at Denver, Jones did not assume the Fred Taylor role, it was the MJD show. So that throws into question whether there can be a "Fred Taylor next year" if Taylor moves on in the offseason. Still, Greg Jones has become such an excellent fullback that the Jags would likely be inclined to keep him there and give Washington a look if MJD went down so Washington looks to have at least backup value once Taylor is done.Bloom
YOU ROCK MAN . will do
Rb-Chauncey Washington --- is my current pet peeve ...
could he be the F.Taylor next year for JAX ?
Odds are this got lost in the shuffle by someone this week.It was the first "short week" of the year due to Thursday games and this one should have been entered a day early. I don't know what happened, but I'll see if we can't get two posted next week to catch up.....though we still don't know where the week 10 Dynasty Watch article is, do we?
