These are consensus dynasty rankings for year 2007 standard FBGs scoring no PPR

If you vote other, please specify.

Also, please comment on your vote, and list any player that should be nominated for the next round.

I like the chatter going on so lets keep that going as we vote. Discussion about why you prefer one of these players compared to the others is useful to everyone involved and offers insight into how people in your leagues may view these players compared to others.

gheemony made a great point about one way to consider dynasty value for players in rankings by giving 50% value to 2007, 33% to 2008, and 17% to 2009. I know there are many ways to look at this and how hard it is to project for players even for one year. But I think it is significant enough that its worth mentioning. I am sure everyone has a different formula that they might use. But this one to me has some good balance and makes a lot of sense. And now has become a topic of discussion in this thread: http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...howtopic=296123 I welcome you all to read this and offer your perspectives on methods you use in determining where to rank players in dynasty leagues.

1. Steve Smith 5/12/1979

2. Chad Johnson 1/9/1978

3. Larry Fitzgerald 8/31/1983

4. Torry Holt 6/5/1976

5. Reggie Wayne 11/17/1978

6. Roy Williams 12/20/1981

7. Anquan Boldin 10/3/1980

8. Andre Johnson 7/11/1981

9. Javon Walker 10/14/1978

10. Marques Colston 6/5/1983

11. Terrell Owens 12/7/1973

12. Darrell Jackson 12/6/1978

13. Lee Evans 3/11/1981

I don't nessessarily disagree with your position so I won't make any attempt to convince you that you or other Harrison believers may be wrong or have him over-rated. Personaly I would rather have Harrison than TO.That being said I think the reason some people have not been voting for Harrison enough for him to win a slot yet (keeping in mind that many have voted for him and have been voting for him for awhile allready and he has almost won allready) is because they expect a precipitous drop in his performance in the very near future. See Rod Smith this year. Or they at least see a decline that will be significant enough to not warrant the risk. No one wants to be caught holding the bag on a player who is suddenly done being useful and no one will want to trade players of substantial value for a declining Harrison with his end being near.I am also not saying either side of this position is wrong. Some wont value Marvin this highly because of the risk of decline based on thier philosophy others will. Some Wrs keep producing at a high level even as they age but at some point they fall off.Chris Carter for example was a solid top 10 Wr until age 35 then dropped to the 32nd Wr at 36 then 129th Wr at 37.Jerry Rice is the only Wr I know of who performed at an elite level for several more years after he turned 35.

Now Braylon Edwards joining the 3 way tie with Marvin and Housh eeeshh.

Need more votes and I hope to avoid a tie breaker this time but that remains to be seen.

Braylon actually ahead of Housh now. Seems everyone who voted Evans went to Edwards.

was at the browns game on sunday

braylon should have had 3 more catches, instead give him +3 to his drop total on the season

Wheres the respect for Harrison? Any Harrison owners have him ranked a little differently?....yeah, I thought so

Driver is tied for 2nd in my PPR league...does the potential of losing Brett Favre decrease his perceived value that much?
