These are consensus dynasty rankings for year 2007 standard FBGs scoring no PPR

If you vote other, please specify.

Also, please comment on your vote, and list any player that should be nominated for the next round.

I like the chatter going on so lets keep that going as we vote. Discussion about why you prefer one of these players compared to the others is useful to everyone involved and offers insight into how people in your leagues may view these players compared to others.

gheemony made a great point about one way to consider dynasty value for players in rankings by giving 50% value to 2007, 33% to 2008, and 17% to 2009. I know there are many ways to look at this and how hard it is to project for players even for one year. But I think it is significant enough that its worth mentioning. I am sure everyone has a different formula that they might use. But this one to me has some good balance and makes a lot of sense. And now has become a topic of discussion in this thread: http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...howtopic=296123 I welcome you all to read this and offer your perspectives on methods you use in determining where to rank players in dynasty leagues.

1. Steve Smith 5/12/1979

2. Chad Johnson 1/9/1978

3. Larry Fitzgerald 8/31/1983

4. Torry Holt 6/5/1976

5. Reggie Wayne 11/17/1978

6. Roy Williams 12/20/1981

7. Anquan Boldin 10/3/1980

8. Andre Johnson 7/11/1981

9. Javon Walker 10/14/1978

10. Marques Colston 6/5/1983

11. Terrell Owens 12/7/1973

12. Darrell Jackson 12/6/1978

13. Lee Evans 3/11/1981

14. Marvin Harrison 8/25/1972

15. TJ Houshmandzadeh 9/26/1977

Trade down. There's not a big gap between these guys.

You can make a compelling case for just about any one of these guys with the exception of maybe Stallworth.

If I was building a team from scratch I'd probably take Calvin Johnson.

If I wanted to compete for the next 3-4 years, I'd probably take Ward or Coles.

Driver is the choice here...proven production and not much older than Houshmanzadeh (sp?)

Driver always is underrated

Driver is an interesting situationare you drafting him here based on Farve being in GB, or Rodgers being the QB?to me it seems like his value is VERY dependend on if Farve is in GB next yearbut for dynasty, in at a minimum two years driver will have a new QB, and be 34for me Housh has much better upside here, Palmer will be the QB in Cinn for as long as housh is there

At #15, he'd be my #2 WR to pair with one of the top guys on the list already.

I'll take the better production for the next few years and keep cashing my winnings.

Housh is a safe pick but he won't ever put up big #'s playing with Cincy due to CJ being there too.

Remember Housh is a 29 year old wideout that just reached the 1000 yd mark for the 1st time in his career.

I guess what I don't like about Housh here over guys like S Moss, Plax, etc. is that he is a number 2 wideout, on a high offense, with an up and comer Henry. Also, at some point will he leave for cash and with that hurt his production. To many questions for me, I went with S. Moss...

The lack of motivation is a serious concern. But anyone else noticing how young Randy Moss is compared to the other Wrs here?

I will let this poll run one more day as it only has 60 some votes right now. As much as I would like every poll to have a clear conclushion to save me the headache of possible tie breaker polls what is more important to me is getting as close to an accurate sample as possible.

Has there been anybody as consistent as plax? Dude had a td almost every week and won me a championship.

His situation is great. Clear #1
