Amongst this group, it really depends on what you're looking for.

I like the upside of Walker here. I think people are overreacting to his knee, and underestimating the situation he has in OAK.

i've had 3 knee ops in 2 years. As soon as I hear a player has another problem with a knee that has already been operated on, I avoid him like the plague.

Hacket - young, has played well when he's on the field. Will start alongside Steve Smith and see single coverage. Delhomme can get him the ball. Should be good for several years if he can beat his injury pronetudeleness.

I did not vote for him, but does Bryant Johnson need to be considered soon considering his signing with SF? If the QB situation was more stable I would say a resounding "yes", but having Martz in his corner does not hurt either.

I went with Chris Henry in Cincy.

Was leaning toward Berrian ahead of Walker and Ward but just couldn't bring myself - maybe being a Lion fan I just couldn't go with a Bear that hasn't produced consistently.

Haven't really paid attention to these threads, but it's criminal how low Holt is on this list. (Steve Smith really that far ahead of Holt?? Seriously? I like Smith, but Holt's worst year of the last 8 statistically (2007) is better than all but one in Steve Smith's career). Not to mention Holt's missed 2 games the past 8 years.

How Moss isn't in the top 1-2 is beyond me. (Maybe at the time of poll it wasn't clear he was heading back to NE?). GL to anyone that believes Fitz is #1 with Leinart under center (coming from a Card homer).

I hope guys in my league believe Moss is #27. Wouldn't touch this guy with a 10-foot pole. No higher than a high WR4 here (or WR37 in a 12-teamer).

Continue on.

I agree 100% with every one of these points, particularly re: Holt and Moss. I wonder if people realize Moss is only 31. He could EASILY put in 3-4 more yrs at an elite level. AJ is good, but the 4 yrs in age difference doesn't make up for the uber production of Moss. By the time Moss is done winning championships for teams in, say, 3 yrs (at worst), AJ will be 30 at that point and have decrease trade value just as Moss is being viewed now at 31. Even Wayne I have a VERY hard time putting over Moss when there is only 1 year in age difference (and therefore shouldn't be a factor). You guys really think Wayne will outproduce Moss in the next 2-3 yrs? I don't think people realize that Reggie Wayne is 30 this year.

I would start considering Donte Stallworth for this list pretty soon.
Yikes, I wouldn't.
I almost can't believe I said it either, but hear me out. He is taking over the #2 slot from JJ. Based on what JJ did ( 50-614-3 Age: 33), I could see his numbers being improved based on his explosiveness. I could reasonably see 60-900-6. Look at the WR group we have to choose from:Ward 71-732-7 Age: 31Driver 82-1048-2 Age: 33Walker 26-287-0 Age: 29Coles 55-646-6 Age: 30Harrison 20-247-1 Age: 35Berrian 71-951-5 Age: 27Hackett 32-384-3 Age: 26Stallworth 46-697-3 Age: 27Now I am not saying Donte will outperform each of these guys. I am just saying at this point he deserves consideration. He's still young, fast and on an offense that is very productive.

I'm going to close this one with Walker/Berrian/Ward as 28/29/30. Will start these again a week or 2 after the draft but this seems to be a good break point, since draft talk is really starting to heat up. Please feel free to continue to add comments for further discussions.
