Dynasty WR: which have the best upside? (1 Viewer)

For Dyansty PPR leagues, what WR do you think have the best upside long term?

James Jones, GB

Sammie Stroughter, TB

A. Collie, IND

P. Garcon, IND

B. Tate, NE

I'd list them:

James Jones

Austin Collie

Brandon Tate

Pierre Garcon

Sammie Stroughter

Close between Collie and Jones for the top spot. I chose Jones because Rodgers is 26, Manning 33. Kind of crazy to think that way considering how well he is playing right now, but Manning can't play forever.

 Nice ranking.Tate has a good chance to better than all of them in time.

Upside (what do they max out as)

Jones - #1 fantasy receiver capable of 90 catches and double digit TDs

Garcon - #2 WR on Indy's offense filling the Reggie Wayne role now that Reggie Wayne is a #1

Tate - 60 to 70 catches and a lot of big plays

Collie - slot WR in 3WR sets on Indy, Stokely's one big year with more consistency

Stroughter - #2 WR on a bad team or #3 WR on a good team

Current value (factoring in likelihood of success)

Collie - doing it

Jones - big chance with Nelson out but Driver and Jennings still give him competition for looks

Garcon - just a deep threat now, needs to develop more

Tate - you drafted him knowing he would sit on your bench for 2 or 3 years, at least now he'll see the field a little

Stroughter - low upside guys are dime a dozen when you can pull Wade or Burton off waivers when your bye week desperation hits

These are all roll of the dice type players with decent upside at least. I probably like J Jones the most (in terms of upside), followed by Garcon and then Collie. I think the comment about Collie being a good slot WR and filling the old Stokely role is spot on. Collie seems like he is a great fit there, but I don't think his upside is as high as Jones or even Garcon at this point.

Tate is still a huge wildcard for me... I just don't know enough about him yet.
