No sooner did I open my mouth, Lamb comes out on top against KC. It was what I would have expected to be the norm and not the exception....I'd say looking at all the metrics, regardless of this last game, it appears to me Pickens is the #1.I would not make that statement based on the game against the Eagles, certainly. It should also be noted, and I’m not sure why this is, but lamb seems to have crazy cases of the dropsies when he plays against the Eagles. Between the first game of the year and this one last night, I’d wager he has close to double digit drops against us.matchup thing. Pickens picked on the weaker DBs all night. Nobody picks on QuinyonPickens is clearly the Cowboys' WR1 now. He is completely eclipsing Lamb these days.
Eagles fans, talk to us about that. If you would. Was this more of a matchup thing? Or is Pickens really that much better?
Thank you @renesauz and @unckeyherb . So you would not be so quick to say Pickens has assumed the WR1 role?
Its not just b/c he has been healthy all year either, he's just a different kind of WR. He was sorta stuck like AJ Brown was in TN getting barely 100 targets a year, yet his YPC was awesome.
Now he comes into a pass heavy offense and is just taking off.
Maybe its a 1A/1B, but its just looks like X WR and a Z guy to me really in the end.
112 rec yards + a TD vs. 88 rec yards + 2 pt.
