The radar is a mess and surely looks like this will be a wet one.

Is anyone changing their game plan based on weather? My players in this one are exclusively QB and WR so I'm tempted to move to drier pastures.

Can any locals (especially west of East Rutherford) tell us how hard it's raining? The forecast tells us almost nothing.

from what I saw on the local news rains should be gone by gametime. anyone closer to the meadowlands hearing the same, I live on long Island, and they are calling for a 6Pm end to rain in the city

Wow, the wunderground.com weather site indicates 100% chance of rain at 7 pm. http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findwe...;weekday=Sunday

It's a pretty big front looking at it on the radar so I have a hard time seeing it gone within the next 7-8 hours.

I have the numbers on Akers games in the Meadowlands since 2004 including 1 game versus the Jets.

He's 12-19 on FGs there and 14-14 on PATs in 7 games. His success rate on FGs is a poor 63%. But look at the opportunties. He's averaging 2.7 FG attempts and 2 PATs per game.

Verdict: Start him in leagues that don't penalize for misses like mine, and look for a possible alternative in leagues that do subtract for misses.

It's raining now and from what I read should continue raining until about 9 or 10pm. I also heard that wind will be about 15-20 mph.

They just showed the players warming up and it looks fine. Gameday forecast still says 9mph winds with light snow changing to rain.
