The radar is a mess and surely looks like this will be a wet one.

Is anyone changing their game plan based on weather? My players in this one are exclusively QB and WR so I'm tempted to move to drier pastures.

Can any locals (especially west of East Rutherford) tell us how hard it's raining? The forecast tells us almost nothing.

Wind affects the passing game more than rain. Though the Meadowlands is notorious for its wind as well.

It's a pretty big front looking at it on the radar so I have a hard time seeing it gone within the next 7-8 hours.

The dude has scored double figures every week in my league except twice i think, I'm sticking with him.

I have the numbers on Akers games in the Meadowlands since 2004 including 1 game versus the Jets.

He's 12-19 on FGs there and 14-14 on PATs in 7 games. His success rate on FGs is a poor 63%. But look at the opportunties. He's averaging 2.7 FG attempts and 2 PATs per game.

Verdict: Start him in leagues that don't penalize for misses like mine, and look for a possible alternative in leagues that do subtract for misses.

As of now there is no rain, just a breeze and it's in the 40s. Seems kind of nice out.
