Eagles to trade for Lance Briggs? (1 Viewer)

But per Sirius radio: "LJ Smith and a 2nd or 3rd round pick to Chicago for Lance Briggs".

:tumbleweed:

sounds like a pure rumor. I'd think that Chicago could get more of what they'd want for Briggs, and I feel that this would leave the Eagles weak at TE/receiving.

It would pave the way to sign McMichael...

Nope, Reid won't sign anyone with "character issues" (bad influence on his kids  )
Snotbubbles Posted Today, 11:44 AM Eagles could also draft Olsen.
Nope he'll be gone by the time Philly picks.Remember the Eagles look at LB as spare parts. They will never give up much for one, pay one or draft one in the 1st round. LBs are not important to the Jim Johnson scheme.

I think we can close this now...it doesn't seem to have come from a real NFL source. Oh well...Briggs would have been nice. :sigh:

If that were true then they would never have tagged Trotter a few years back.

They tagged him for a couple of weeks and then let him walk. I don't think that supports the Eagles spending top dollar for LBs.

If this was true, I think the Eagles would draft Ben Patrick from UDel.
