Hoping for some insight from Cards fans. Things don't seem too good for Early right now, but I was wondering if Cards' fans see a reason for hope? I have a tendency to hold on too long.

So basically, does he have a future in Arizona?

From what I have heard is no.He has not stood out at all and will probably be 5th at best on the depth chart.

While he is likely to make the final roster, Early Doucet may struggle to be active on gameday this season. Fitzgerald, Boldin and Breaston occupy the first 3 WR positions and Sean Morey holds the 5th spot on the depth chart as the special teams' captain. Thus Doucet is battling Jerheme Urban and longshot Lance Long for the 4th WR position. Unfortunately for Doucet, Urban (who has apparently looked good in camp so far) is a contributor of special teams while he is not, which gives Urban a leg up the competition.
