I don't get the Matt Jones love. Cassel - was dropped in a few of my smaller 12 team leagues.

Slaton has done well, but if you followed that during pre-season, people actually drafted the guy and there was some talk about him.

McClain has come out of nowhere. The guy is a top 10 rb in most formats right now.

I don't get the Matt Jones love.

What don't you get? He went undrafted in 99% of leagues (while everyone was pimping Porter) and so far is the Jags' WR1. Will he put up Larry Fitz numbers? No. Is he a servicable WR3? No doubt about it.I think part of the confusion is using Earnest Graham last year as the baseline for this discussion. I interpret that as "guys who came from complete obscurity to become fantasy relevant", which IMO disqualifies all drafted/hyped players. Slaton and Hightower were drafted in a ton of leagues and had plenty of pre-season hype so I don't look at them like Earnest Graham or even Ryan Grant last year.

There was alot of talk about Slaton and his potential if things fell just right. Hardly anyone knew who Hightower and McClain were. I'd give the edge to McClain right now unless Hightower starts to get a majority of the carries.
