I'm an episode and a half away from finishing the series. I mostly agree. For the most part, it's a horrible show.

There are parts that I find funny just because I'm from the region they are depicting, but aren't really that funny. Kind of had the same effect with that Campaign movie with Galifinakis (though different regions of NC)

Don't get me wrong. I tried to like it. I go through about a season and a half but I just can't take the main character. He's rude, crude and mean. Where's the humor in that?

I think that's kind of the point. I get that it's not for everyone.

the last season was truly awful, but some of the stuff in Mexico was pretty hilarious.

I would say if you don't laugh at the first episode when he is crashing at his brothers and on the phone with a hooker asking of he can wear the Scream mask while doing her from behind, it probably isn't the show for you.

I loved the beginning, and throughout the show, pretty much any scene involving vast amounts of cocaine.
