Looks like Hartwell will return this week. Is he moving into the MLB slot? Williams and Boley were great FF IDP's in his absence. Hartwell is a better NFL defender, but will he put up similar stats???

I think Boley is a better NFL LB than Hartwell. The Falcons have announced this move-- Boley stays at SLB, Hartwell takes over MLB, Brooking moves to WLB-- no surprises here. Demorrio Williams will go to the bench but still play nickel situations. Hartwell won't be a three down backer. So, there is a big blow to Williams value, limited MLB value in Hartwell, Brooking and Boley stay the same. Maybe Brooking gets a small bump at WLB, but nothing to be excited about. I'm leery of Hartwell's knees, and the amount of downtime he's had. I won't be shocked if the Demorrio finds his way onto the field quite a bit and at Hartwell's expense.
Thanks. I didn't know if he would start when I posted the topic!!!I am also leary of his production on return, especially without being in on the nickel package. Is that confirmed or gut feeling??
Hartwell didn't play in nickel packages last year and the Atlanta coaching staff had pegged Brooking and Williams as the nickel backers in the pre-season. With Boley performing so well in Abraham's absence, the coaches are planning to continue his expanded role as well. Hartwell, even as a starter, will be a situational player.
