Not an Edge owner but looking to see who agrees or disagrees. Even with taking Hightower into account:

Except for the Giants & Philly games this schedule looks to be good for James. He looks healthy and is getting the carries (except for 2 weeks). Will Arizona ever be in a position where they can win on the ground and take advantage of a schedule like this? Looks like a buy low to me or am I drinking the kool-aid or years past?

I think that Edge and Hightower should switch roles. Edge has been a hammer in the goal line and two point chances he has got, Edge has knocked guys backwards. Hightower seems better able to turn the corner.Turn Edge into a Marcus Allen type of plunger for the rest of his days and give Hightower most of the carries.

I think that Edge and Hightower should switch roles. Edge has been a hammer in the goal line and two point chances he has got, Edge has knocked guys backwards. Hightower seems better able to turn the corner.Turn Edge into a Marcus Allen type of plunger for the rest of his days and give Hightower most of the carries.

Except Hightower isn't all that good. He can't block, isn't that good of a runner, usually requiring 2 or 3 attempts to get that 1-yard touchdown. He is what he is: a 5th round RB used keep Edge healthy.

Edge will be lucky to rush for 40 yards in that Vikings game.

But, you're right, he should be an OK option for most of the rest of the year.

Hightower as looked better to me in the AZ games I have watched in regards to running the football. Haven't really focused on his pass blocking to really tell if he's adequate.
