Eisenberg says Cutler/Marshall could both be #1 in position. (1 Viewer)

Really thinking of making a play for Cutler who seems to have taken the next step. They really could be solid for a long, long time.

GLWT (I think you're too late to the party) 6 pass TD league; I wouldn't take anything that would be taken outside Round 1 if we were holding a draft today. (Edit: Really I don't see me dealing him even in that case. I don't see breaking up Cutler-Marshall)Whomever Eisenberg is, is not really going out on a limb here. Glad to have both + Scheffler to start each week and to have bought low on all this preseason.

Eisenberg is stating the potential obvious but too bad he didn't see it like some of us before the season started. I can't think of another QB/WR combo I would want. Got 'em and keeping 'em

Are we getting carried away or are we about to see something special?
we're getting carried away
I've watched a lot of football over the last two weeks, including both Denver games. There isn't a better combo out there right now. Brady-Moss would have been #1, but now its these two. They are that good.Heck...... Cutler-Royal could have been top 3. Marshall is uncoverable one on one and Cutler has the best arm strength/accuracy combo in the league. These two will both be top 5 at their position easily (barring injuries, of course). For both to hit #1 isn't a stretch at all.

This thread has pushed me off the fence. At 5am tomorrow (first time trading opens), I will be clicking "accept" on the following:

Cutler, Marshall, McGahee for Schaub, Holmes, Lynch, Young.

Oh, I know it's late. But wouldn't hurt to send out a feeler or two. Not going to give up the farm, but you never know if an owner feels differently than you do.

I'm a big Cutler/Marshall fan, but I'd still prefer Manning/Wayne or Romo/Owens.

I'd respectfully disagree. The Denver passing offense looks possessed AND has an incredibly favorable schedule. Put me in the "this could be something special" camp.

Who is this "Eisenberg?"
Jamey Eisenbeg, fantasy expert for CBS.
Never heard of him.Is he so widely known, that people can just refer to him by one name? If the title was, "Madden says..." or "Shannahan says..." it might be a litte easier to understand.

I've been playing FF long enough to know how quickly things can change.

I'm cautiously optimistic, but not getting too excited yet.

:fingerscrossed:
