Emerald Bowl (1 Viewer)

Chaos Commish

Footballguy
This game's about to start and I just thought I'd list the combine invites. I'm on garage detail this afternoon, so I will only be able to watch some of the game.

From Utah:

Quinton Gather, RB

From Georgia Tech:

PJ Daniels, RB

Demarius Bilbo, WR

Gavin Tarquinio, TE

Eric Henderson, DE

Gerris Wilkerson, OLB

Reuben Houston, CB

Dawan Landry, S

That's a bunch of Yellow Jackets, but none of them have a particularly high grade.

Thanks for starting this one. I will do a close watch on the Holiday Bowl tonight, but go figure I have enough of a life that I could not watch the Alamo Bowl and Emerald Bowl with any detail.

Well, I wish I watched more of it.

I was impressed with Bilbo, and his name is pretty much new to me. Very deceptive speed, solid routes, strong for wr, and made some nice plays.

I was supposed to be impressed with Dawan Landry. At least I've been hearing very good things about him, but it was Houston who looked good in that torched secondary. :D

Sheesh, who expected Utah to do that? What the heck is a LaTendresse? For those who missed it, this kid, a senior in his last game, not considered an NFL prospect-- CAUGHT 15 BALLS FOR 216 YARDS AND 4 TDS. Crazy stuff and good for him. I think Canada is in his future. And this young QB, Ratliff, at Utah is way for real. He made some simply amazing throws.

Something tells me he just made a lot of NFL teams FA invite lists, at least. You simply just don't do that in a bowl game as a senior and go ignored. I'm waiting for a report to run at work, so here goes nothing - from media guide:88

TRAVIS LATENDRESSE

Ganther will get some looks. Reminds me of Duce Staley. Very tough runner that makes yards after contact.Ratliff has only been playing for 2 games really with the injury to Johnson, who has been starting at QB the whole year and wasn't very good. Ratliff has looked really good in those two games.
