I recall reading that The Hawks may be shopping D-Jax. With Branch on board, I wonder if this signing paves the way for a move involving Jackson. Here's the blurb.

Seahawks | Engram contract details

Wed, 4 Apr 2007 12:21:55 -0700

Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports the Seattle Seahawks have re-signed unrestricted free-agent WR Bobby Engram to a two-year deal worth $3.4 million, including a signing bonus of $880,000. Engram will receive a base salary of $820,000 in 2007 and a base salary of $1.7 million in 2008.

I guess Obomanu will either have to wait until next year to get his chance or just won't get a chance.

:whoosh:

Tell that to Hackett!!There's still the draft day trade perhaps.
I seriously doubt it. I think Seattle goes into the season with Jackson and Branch starting. Engram and Hackett are the three/four. Burleson returns kicks. Just my opinion. I would like to see Hackett get his chance, but I have my doubts he'll be starting at any point this year unless someone gets hurt.Seattle hasn't had starting receivers make it through the season unscathed for a long time. Depth is a necessity for teams that want to contend.

Jackson will be gone sometime around draft day. Branch & Hackett start, Engram is in the slot. Burleson continues to ride the pine...
