I don't know if you've had the distinct pleasure of listening to FOX baseball analyst Eric Karros but he is an abomination to broadcasting. He called Pedro Martinez "Pedro Rodriguez" today, he screws up everybody else's name, and he just won't shut the #### up. I mean he makes baseball as a neutral observer impossible. I'd rather listen to Paris Hilton speaking on the war in Iraq than Eric Karros who sucks beyond the true meaning of suck.

I think I remember him being pretty good when he used to come on the Jim Rome show as a guest. That was a long time ago though.

Thats sad, I loved Joe Carter as a player, and he seemed genial enough, I figured he'd be good on the stick. Karros is a ridiculous hack though. It's amazing none of these guys on YES have gotten national gigs, because Girardi, Leiter and John Flaherty are all strong, ESPECIALLY Leiter and Flaherty.

I honestly don't care for Allen either but he's not a national broadcaster either. Allen is a local problem, Karros is a national epidemic of stupidity.

Couldn't agree more. On a national level, I have not heard worse. Locally, Jim Price is so bad when he does play by play in innings 3-5, I turn down the volume on the radio and watch the dial.

I always listen to the radio broadcast and turn off the TV guys. Jim Price is the best color guy I have ever heard.

His play by play is real bad, but as a color guy there is nobody better.
