What can we expect out of Coleman this year? I am thinking about tradeing pick 2.3 in a 32 team dynasty for him other owner wants me to throw in 3.1.Is he worth it?I have absoultly no decent safetyies and there are no FA to pick up.What do you guys think?

Let me guess, he tried offering you Eric Coleman?I seen a blurb somewhere just yesterday that his job is not safe and Eric Smith will compete and very well could take his starting job away, beware of Sharks.

I offred him 2.3 for him he came back with 2.3 and 3.1.I am worried about weather he has the starting job or not thing is I inherited this team and I have no starting saftyies.I could probably get Nelson or Piscitelli with that pick, but I need immeadiate help, would either of them be a better bet than Coleman?

Coleman does not appear to be a Mangini favorite. Eric Smith got more playing time last year than I had expected, even though his coverage skills weren't as good as Coleman's. In the end, becuase Coleman has the better talent set, I think he will get most of the snaps, but Mangini seems intent on at least subbing Smith in as often as possible, especially on expected running downs. I think it's safe to expect Coleman to come close to duplicating his numbers from last year, but not from 2005. As for the rooks.... I'll reserve comment as I don't feel I can make an honest reliable assessment of them vs. Coleman. Bloom and Bramel are good for great info on the rookie (and other) situations.

Coleman has to be on thin ice. Smith is a Mangini pick, and they reached for him, so they have to like him.

Piscatelli >>> Coleman.

No way Coleman is the difference between you winning and losing a championship this year. I'd take a chance on a guy with much higher upside, whether it's Piscatelli or another player.

I'd be weary of all offers from the Redskins.

You guys might be right remember I am a newbie to the league I will figure out the other owners as time goes bye.But in the mean time Ive got to get some defensive players if I want to do better than the 1-11 record the old owner managed to get.Kind of stinks that it seems a lot of you guys frequent footballguys so Im not going to have much of an advantage using this site guess its not a secret anymore.

Its all in the name :lmao:

I meant to point out that some owners need to be haggled with more than others or you want get a decent deal.

As far as Coleman, I have no idea what to expect. Rovers has the best advice on any Jets matter IMO.

And your team has a hugh hole to dig out from. The last owner did you no favors.

Let me know if you need anything. I'm always looking for picks or FA cash. :banned:

I'd actually prefer it if you didn't improve on that record. :lmao: Actually, you've had a great offseason. Your WR corps in particular is very solid, not many teams have 3 good starters. Good luck, but I hope your record is the same.

:hey: Ill be watching the pre season closely in regards to this battle. E.Smith could take over as starter if he looks better in camp
