ESPN insider (1 Viewer)

anyone have it and is it worth it?
I have it and for $40, I think it worth it. I check the Insider radio and chat features everyday, basically and around draft time (NBA and NFL) or trade deadline (MLB and NBA) it's always a good read.

My brother paid $10 for it about 4 years ago. They've never asked him to update, and he and I have both been using it since.I think all the extra in-depth breakdowns are definitely worth it. I like reading KC Joyner's stats breakdowns especially. And the PFW Whispers around the NFL are awesome.

Definitely worth it, they throw in a free subscription to ESPN the magazine too.

And by free they mean "have 6 issues and we'll try to con you into thinking you owe us money for more".Decline it if they offer it to you. ESPN the Mag is consistently bad and will be more of a hassle with billing than anything. They (just like most mags) make it very difficult and meandering to cancel subscriptions and make it hard to understand what part is free and what you have to pay for.

On the ESPN the Mag thing. When you sign-up for insider, you get the full year as a part of the price (one of the reasons it is probably it has been $40 for 3 or 4 years). It is not "free," but you are not billed separately. I don't like the magazine either, but as a part of the package i won't tell them to stop sending it.

When I think about a little over $3 a month yes. I can go back a read the chats and many of the rumors that are discussed on TV/Radio at my leisure. Not really convinced that their insiders, rumor mongers and experts are that much better than you can find on a good message board (see this one), or news group type site (kffl or benmaller).
