The Dolphins want to trade him, but Culpepper wants to be out-right released. The best thing for him is to be released and sign a two-year contract as a back-up and try to earn his way into starting spot next year.

* 4 Downs: Is Gene Upshaw in trouble? The Patriots have 12 receivers on their roster, which four will make the team? What does Andrew Walter's knee surgery mean for JaMarcus Russell? Which rookie is making the best impression so far?

* Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown is excited to be in an offense that showcase LaDanian Tomlinson in San Diego. Trent Green brings leadership at the quarterback position. Brown says the team has not missed a beat since Green came on board.
