BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) -- Jeremy Green, an analyst for ESPN and son of former NFL coach Dennis Green, has been arrested on a child pornography charge in Connecticut.

Bristol police say Green was picked up on Thursday around 5 p.m. in a Southington hotel and charged with possession of child pornography, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was being held on a $750,000 bond. Police are noting releasing details and say the warrant is sealed.

There was no telephone listing for Green at his address in Bristol, and it was not immediately clear whether he had a lawyer.

ESPN spokesman Mike Soltys says Green has worked since 2005 as a contributor to ESPN.com. The company had no immediate comment on the arrest.

Downer of a story

It is too bad. While I'm not sure what other contributions he did, he was basically the voice of fantasy football on ESPN radio on Sundays for me (the days I had to work and only had AM radio). Scoring updates and such.

terrible...sad...?

I say despicable. Throw the book at the degenerate. Apparently his fantasies weren't just football related.

I was wondering why he suddenly left the Football Focus Today podcast. :goodposting:
x2. I actually love Matt Williamson, but hadn't heard if he had taken over completely from J.G. They never really said much about it when Williamson took over months ago.

he takes a break every summer and then comes back once it gets closer to the season
He left at least 2 months ago and it was definitely not his normal break. The producer briefly mentioned that he wouldn't be doing the show anymore and he wasn't sure if it was permanent or not.
interesting.... i did not know that
