Additional League Rules:

(1) Free Agent Rules

You can "put in for a player" in one of two ways.

Post it on the message board

Thru the free agent pick-up option on this web site

The best way to solve this problem is to attempt to pick up the player(s) you want to add to your team via the "add/drop" area of this web site. It will then keep record of all attempted pick ups and even have a time stamp on it. If there is any question as to when someone called in a free agent pick up to me, the prevailing order is add/drop option, then the message board.

If you win a player in an auction or pick one up after the Thursday 8pm bidding deadline you must tell me who you are dropping from your roster to make room for the new player. The roster size is limited to 17 players. If you do not tell me who you are dropping , then you get no one and you lose all rights to him next week.

We all start out with $100 fantasy dollars.

Fantasy dollars are used for bidding on players and for making free agent pick ups.

1(a)The free agent period starts at 8am Tuesday of each week. If you want to pick up a free agent you must inform me by 8pm Thursday. If no other owner wants that free agent he is added to your team. After 8pm thursday, all players are available first come first serve. If more than one owners attempts to claim the same player before the 8pm thursday deadline, there will be an auction conducted. You use your fantasy dollars to bid with. I will post who is bidding on what player on the message board and

THE WINNER OF THE AUCTION MUST INFORM ME WHO WON AND HOW MUCH IT COST!!!

1(b)example

"I won Jerry Rice for $25. I am dropping Michael Irvin and I am starting Jerry Rice AND Torry Holt."

If you dont include all of that information (if it applies) then you get the same starter you had the previous week.(even if he is hurt or on a bye week) if you dropped him from your roster already, and dont include all this info, you get no one.

In the event two owners have the same amount of fantasy bucks remaining and are willing to spend the maximum amount for a player, a coin flip conducted by the commish will award the free agent at the cost of the maximum bid price.

The coin flip can be conducted by the parties involved if they are local (if they choose) and the winning party must inform me of who won and who they are dropping to make roster room for that new player. If the parties are not local, the commish will conduct the coin flip.

The bidding order to start the bidding process will default to the way it is listed on the money transaction page (if no one starts the bidding or something goes wrong). Players will default to being bid on in an alphabetical order to expedite the process or incase something goes wrong during the bidding.

I will then adjust the cost of that player pick up to reflect the final bid amount. The web site will keep a running tally of money spent, and once you reach $100 you can no longer pick up free agents, make trades, or bid on players.

1©An owner who doesnt make the correct roster adjustment for his free agent pick up(s), will lose all rights to that player(s). I will not wait until after sunday/monday when you can evaluate the rest of your team for an additional NFL week. That would give you an unfair advantage and it will not be allowed. That player(s) is back to being fair game even if you won him in a bidding war. He goes back to being available for all owners for $1. So make sure to adjust your roster size !!!!

1(d)If the bidding for a player(s) is not finished by 11pm saturday he will be put back into the free agent pool and be available for all owners for $1. If at 10am sunday no one informs me of all the information required (1b)to allow that free agent on your team he also goes back into the free agent pool. This is to move the bidding process along quickly. It boils down to, "If you snooze you lose."

1(e)All free agents after 8pm thurs are first come first serve with the same rules as 1© applying. The dead line for $1 pick ups is 10am sunday.

1(f)Any player dropped to clear room for a newly added free agent is not available for pick up until the following weeks free agent period begins to allow all owners an opportunity to add him to their team.

This year I started to simply add any player you put in for to your roster. What this also means is if you put in for 5 kickers cause your kicker is on a bye week, i am going to add everyone of them and you will be charged $1 for each of them. This should prevent people for requesting "every available kicker" to prevent having to bid on one.

This will most likely cause your roster to go over the legal limit. It is your responsibility to drop player and get to the 17 player max. If you have more than 17 and didnt call me or your opponent for that week PRIOR to the start of the FIRST game for that week you will forfeit your game. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

If you were awarded a free agent and think youre going to watch sundays games to see how your 4th and 5th string rb's perform and then decide who youre going to drop, think again. you will lose that week and thats final.

(2)Trades

All trades must be completed 24 hours prior to the NFL starting time of any player involved in a trade.

Last year in another league we had someone pull off a trade at the dead line and it was extremly unfair. There wasnt time to put it to a league vote. As with any trade that appears unfair, its gets put to a league vote for veto. None of this trading to stack the team of your friend.

Trades cost each team $2 no matter how many players involved.

Trading to stack a team for a specific week will result on losses by both teams involved.

Trading players from a losing team to a winning team at the end of the season will not be tolerated. If your team has no chance at making the playoffs, and you trade your top 3 position players for a bunch of scrubs on a team that will make the playoffs, the rosters will be corrected to what they were prior to the trade, and you may be banned from the league.

These rules may seem long and nuts, but we've had this league for 10 years. Every year someone tries to sneak some bull#### past the commish, and every year we add rules or adjust them. In any event of some bull####, a league wide vote may be conducted, but in the end THE COMMISH HAS FINAL SAY ON ALL MATTERS !!!!!!!

And scoring:

QB's: 6 pt passing TD's, 1 point for every 50 yards passing

RB:6 pt rushing TD's, 7 pt passing or receiving, 1 point for every 15 yards rushing, 10 receiving, 15 passing

WR:6 pt receiving, 7pt passing or rushing Td's, see RB for yardage points

TE:See WR

K: Standard

Def: Standard

Pay outs are

1st 50%

2nd 35%

3rd 15%

All league fees must be paid before Sunday's draft.
