After he kicked a extra point last night he said:

"Esteban Ochocinco is back, the most interesting footballer in the world"

He looks great. Maybe better than the old Chad that was dominant a few years ago. He is getting off defenders easy, cutting awesome, catching great.

I got him on the cheap last year in a dynasty league and he looks like he is back to top 10 status to me. Woot!

People are always down on wide receivers for running their mouths BUT THAT IS EXACTLY WHY I LOVE WIDE RECEIVERS.

Viva El 'Cinco!

The next person who makes a #85 post is going to be on my S list. Don't you people understand I want this guy on the cheap this year? People think he is washed up, don't give them any reason think that he is not. Palmer is healthy, #85 is healthy, TJ is out of town, and Benson has looked OK running the ball to keep things balanced = a big year for #85.Henry is going to be undervalued as well.

Oh yeah, and God forbid if they actually let him kick some XP's or short FG's in an emergency. That could mean another 20 free points.

Chad looks good, and let's keep it on the down-low about how good Chris Henry looks..that guy is set to

break-out as a lethal,top 10 WR threat..

Sure Chad looks good now, and I'll be targeting him as value, but how will he look/act when this team is struggling at 1-6?
That's a good question. The thing that scares me about Chad is the inconsistency -- Is he going to be a Top 10 WR, week in and week out? Or is he going to be the Top 10 WR with three monster weeks and 13 disappointing weeks like he has been in the past?

For what it's worth, a young man who went by the name of Chad Johnson put up monster numbers during the back half of the Bengals' disastrous 2-14 season in 2002. Obviously he was a different guy then, but at least he has a record of producing when his team was faltering.

True...but I did not have any kids then, and now I have three...time is a biatchaslov.

Of course. What was truly amazing was that in order to get some relevant data on crappy Bengals teams before 2008, I had to go all the way back to 2002. These are not the Bengals of the Shula-Coslett era.

its not the extra point i found interesting, it was that he kicked off after that and got the ball to the 10 yard line that impressed me. Pretty good for a non kicker. Viva la Ochoman :lmao:

The answer likely depends on how many balls were thrown to him during that 1-6 stretch. Ocho may not be happy to be 1-6, but that's a huge difference from 1-6 and (in his eyes) not getting the ball emough.

Call me crazy, but I think the combination of a healthy offense and a more effective Bengals D is enough to have this team in the playoff hunt.

this season comes down to 2 thing IMO: 1. Can Carson stay healthy and 2. Can the O-line gel enough to be above mediocre

For the first time in a long time I don't have major concerns about the defense. Also a small piece that's largely going unnoticed in FF is ST, and more specifically adding Huber (P). Shankapotimus constantly cost us field position last year. From what I've seen of Huber's punts they've been deep and great hangtime allowing the coverage to get there.

Oh, and the Estaban part came from some reference to soccer (futbol).

It's always been that way, and I don't expect it to change.

I think people are overstating the disappearing acts a tad. I think this had a lot to do with TJ or defenses blanket covering him. He's great value this year.
