Man, I am seeing some serious overreactions here to good or stud players. I know it happens every season but it feels like today more so than other recent week one overreactions. Everyone needs to step back, take 2 deep breaths, and cheeeeeeeiiiilllll:
Lamar Miller - No denying it he was putrid. But so was Daniel Thomas. The O line clearly blew. Perhaps lower expectations for miller moving forward but he should still be a viable RB3 with RB2 weeks here and there. At least he didn't fumble! He's not in the coach's doghouse!
Stevan Ridley - He is in the coach's doghouse but he will get another shot at redemption in week 2. Vereen is very good but there is room for both of them to operate and be fantasy relevant in the pats offense. Step back from the ledge.
David Wilson - He is still that very talented back but he needs to get his fumbling corrected. I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants brought in Tiki Barber to help him learn ball security this week. There are no other viable options. Wilson will get another shot to redeem himself next week and is too talented and to high a draft pick to be benched forever.
Kenbrell Thompkins - He's a rookie, guys...he had a rookie game 1, filled with mistakes, but he also showed promise and Brady looked to him often. He will get another shot in week 2 and will do better. Just let him prove himself on your bench,
Mike Wallace - He won't play haden every week. He an Tannehill just need a little time to gel. He will have his great games.
Dwayne Bowe - I guarantee you that he will have better days. KC played a horrific team and their defense dominated. There was no need for alex smith to do anything more than be a game manager. You think that will happen every week?
MJD/Lynch/Trich/Spiller - All still studs who will have better days. These are buy-low opportunities, fellas.
