Exactly how long until the draft starts? (1 Viewer)

Guys, from this exact moment, how long until the Raiders (or someone else) make that first pick?

Almost half past two on Saturday afternoon here, about to embark on a fairly big Saturday night, thought I'd work out what time (before I get on the :P ) I have to turn on the PC tomorrow.

Cheers!

Little less than 12 hours depending on how long Berman runs on.

Curious what Australian folks do for the NFLDraft.

Sit around and drink+snack+watch+hope your team lands a certain player like most Americans?

Australian bars do anything special for this day?

Considering it's about 1:30 a.m. in Sydney, I think the bars shut down for the draft.

Hang around this forum waiting for a live link, so we can watch the draft. It isn't shown down here on ESPN as we get to watch Italian soccer or dogs running around jumping through hoops instead. Honestly, I would think that less than 1% of Australian's would even know there is a draft on today. The World Cup Cricket final is on today (if it ever stops raining) and most Aussies are staying up late to watch that.

It's only the hardcore NFL fans/US expats that will be watching/listening to the draft down here. I've pretty much followed it on this board and old yellow for the last 6 years, but this will be the first time I'm able to actually watch it from the link provided in the other thread. :)

interesting, thanks for the reply

My Aussie friends does this link work for you?

ESPN radio live draft info for 7 and a half more hours.

ESPN.com: ESPNRadio.com
Thanks, link works fine. I've been using the live link to the NFL network in the other thread. However, it's started to get a little shaky for me over the past couple of minutes, so I might have to settle for the radio coverage.
Glad to see your here.Getting ready for "unlucky's" $ leagues?

Yeah, ready to make another donation to the winning owners again this year.

Hey kids. As usual, Bramel was right and it started @ 2.30am Melbourne time. Got home from the Waterside (Nick Riewoldt's crappy pub for you aussies) by 2am, girlfriend is asleep on the couch while the rest of us sink carlton draughts and eat dimmies & sausage rolls etc. while watching the cricket. Gilly for man of the match.

Although these guys here are at least NFL fans also, so while I shout out that JaMarcus went #1, at least a few of them listen.

  :banned:

Giddy up.

and yeah...

about 27 people out of 20,000,000+ in Aus even know the draft is on today (tonight). 23 of them subscribe to FBG's, I tols the other 4 about 2 hours ago.

As it looks at the moment, there isn't even a draft review after each day as in previous years on ESPN.
