Ezekiel Elliott's Trade Value? (1 Viewer)

How many Draft Picks, in what rounds, would Ezekiel Elliott be worth in trade?

I own Ezekiel Elliott in a 12 Team, standard scoring, non-ppr Keeper League (keep 4).  I am entertaining the idea of trading Elliott to a diehard Cowboy's fan who wants him REALLY BAD !!! 

I want to be fair to the other Owner, but I also realize Elliott should bring a handsome return.  I'm thinking multiple draft picks in return for Elliott.  Since we keep 4 players from last year, our Draft actually begins after 48 players are off the board (Round 5).  We can trade current year or next year (2019) Draft Picks in this league.

I would possibly consider getting Joe Mixon (as my 4th keeper instead of a 2nd WR) from him in addition to draft picks.  My keepers (without keeping Elliott) would likely be Melvin Gordon, Jordan Howard, Michael Thomas, and perhaps another WR from these:  (D. Thomas, D. Funchess, G. Tate, M. Goodwin).

What would you want in return for Elliott if you were me?  Thanks!

How long can you keep someone?  If you can keep forever then his price goes up. 

I would definitely want Mixon over those WR's so I would look to get him in the deal (without knowing what else the guy may have on his roster).  I would think a first rounder this year, next year and Mixon would be solid value.  You may want to ask for something a bit more but I would be fine with the two firsts and Mixon.

It really depends on how high the 1sts will be.  Two mid- firsts and Mixon.....not enough.  One of them would have to be top 3 for me to want two firsts and Mixon.

Thanks for the replies and the questions.  Sorry I've been busy and haven't answered yet, but now I can respond.  In this 12 team league Keepers ARE forever if you want them to be.  We all keep 3 players.  In non-expansion years when all 12 teams return we can keep 4th for a nominal fee.  That is the case for this year.  So our draft will begin after 48 players are off the board (= Round 5).

I take it you're re-building a bit. Mixon and 2 1sts sounds like good value but your obviously giving up the "Best player in the deal". It will likely hurt you this year ... I like your keepers and yes, Mixon should be the 4th if you gety him. SO yea him and 2 decently high 1sts (And maybe try to squeeze out one last pick if you can) ...

I'd move Zeke for Mixon and 3 1sts.  If he's not interested then I'd cold shoulder the deal and let him come back to it in a few weeks.  You don't have to move Zeke until someone hits your value.
