Similar to the Kenny Irons vs. Antonio Pittman thread, we're comparing two "similar" players although I think Irons and Pittman are more similar than Bush and Hunt. Both Bush and Hunt are big backs. Both about 6-2 and @240-250 pounds. Hunt is certainly the more physical of the two (or is he?) while Bush appears to be more well rounded. But, both have similar qualities in size. Again, without getting too involved in where they'll end up (have to wait till the end of April), who will be the better NFL or fantasy back?

In typical FBG fashion, give us your logic on your choices.

ET,thanks for starting this thread. I'm actually in a league that holds their

Rookie draft prior to the NFL Draft and some additional FBG input is always

appreciated.

The fact that Bush was reportedly still limping (no link, just what I remember hearing) at the NFL Combine or his Pro-Day is a major redflag to me. He was injured a long time ago. I don't think he'll return to his pre-break self. Hunt wins by default.

I don't see either one of these guys doing much, but I'd rather have Bush. He's a better athlete and he has a more realistic chance of actually becoming a starter.

Tony Hunt is dog food.

I am leaning towards Bush. Had he not gotten hurt, he would have been right behind Peterson and ahead of Lynch. If, and that's a big if, he can manage to run prior to the draft and post a good 40 time, I think he will shoot up the draft boards. Ideal situation would be going to a team that doesn't need him right away. Give him a chance to fully heal similar to the McGahee situation when he was drafted by Buffalo.

I remember reading something about Bush's doctor saying he was 99% healed from his broken leg just recently. Maybe so, maybe the break healed. That still doesn't mean he's in football shape or is ready to start taking hits. I think Bush had some bust factor before the injury. I'm not saying he will but big backs are kinda funny in the league. It's also weird that maybe the best thing Bush does is catch the football. He could serve as a third down back. So the 6-2, 250 pound Running Back I just drafted with a first day pick is at his best as a third down back? Huh?
