Why trade one ##### bag for another?49ers? And they pull offers for Crabtree?
I actually agree with this. Royal was gonig to get his catches either way. But it would be a lot easier if the defense had another stud to account for.Am I the only one who doesn't see a potential trade as a huge bump for Royal? He lost a very good QB and now might lose the attention that was payed to a Stud WR.
I would upgrade him on the Ravens. He should get a lot of one of one coverage and Flacco has a cannonAssuming he does go to the Jets or the Ravens....you have to downgrade him, right?
I'm having trouble figuring this out, myself.Assuming he does go to the Jets or the Ravens....you have to downgrade him, right?
From Kyle Orton to Joe Flacco would be a downgrade?Assuming he does go to the Jets or the Ravens....you have to downgrade him, right?
Not really. Staying in Denver would be such a mess for him, IMO. It would be a season long soap opera.Assuming he does go to the Jets or the Ravens....you have to downgrade him, right?
'Many' = whom? Many are suggesting that maybe it is due to a trade.
He will command huge target numbers wherever he goes. His style of play will allow him to post nice numbers even with Kermit the Frog at QB. No downgrade necessary. Not really. I was thinking more along the lines of the offense. The Ravens are more of a run the ball, pass control offense and the Broncos like to air it out (assuming it doesn't change much with the new coach). From Kyle Orton to Joe Flacco would be a downgrade?Assuming he does go to the Jets or the Ravens....you have to downgrade him, right?
Huge downgrade for Marshall if he goes to NYJ. Your thoughts? BAL seems to be a better fit for him...I'm nosing around this situation with some sources, and it is VERY quiet right now. Could be nothing, could be the Jets lining up a trade offer. They would have to be considered the front runner right now if a trade is going down.

I see it similar to Plax in NY. Suck teams in with the run and hit on the big plays. His targets would go way down, but I think his production would increase.I was thinking more along the lines of the offense. Anybody who hasn't already downgraded him SIGNIFICANTLY with the loss of Cutler, the attitude, the immaturity, the lack of effort, the off field issues (the next one meaining a big suspension), the not bothering to learn the playbook, the hip, the hammy... anyone not already dropping him out of the top 20 WRs has been burying his head in the sand. The guy is radioactive, and I wouldn't touch him in any league anywhere near his current ADP.Assuming he does go to the Jets or the Ravens....you have to downgrade him, right?
Twitter and the Denver Post.So where is the rumor coming from exactly?
I'm thinking an upgrade either way. Guy's been petulant the whole way through. Says he's not even close to knowing the playbook, may or may not have had a lingering hammy injury earlier in camp, came back from the "injury" looking lackadaisical by all accounts, has been relegated to gunner duty on special teams practice, scout team in offensive practices and held a blocking dummy yesterday while the other WRs ran into the dummy. I'm thinking anything is an upgrade from his current situation, at least for fantasy purposes. What an offseason for Denver fans.I'm having trouble figuring this out, myself.Assuming he does go to the Jets or the Ravens....you have to downgrade him, right?

Mike Shanahan is no longer in Denver.since when do the broncos love to air it out? the broncos love to run the ball just as much as the ravens.
thanks.Media hacks.'Many' = whom? Many are suggesting that maybe it is due to a trade.
Leaning this way. Long term upgrade in NY, but this year could be rough.I'm thinking an upgrade either way.I'm having trouble figuring this out, myself.Assuming he does go to the Jets or the Ravens....you have to downgrade him, right?
It is so hard to say. He is definitely a top 10 talent. He has injury problems. I thought his ADP was lower than it is. He is being drafted as WR #14 and overall pick 39, so he is early fourth round in a 12 team league. That is according to the consensus ADP on FBG. I think even that is too high. If he goes to another team he has to start over learning the playbook. If he goes to the Jets he will have a rookie throwing to him. IF he goes to the Ravens they are primarily a running team. So all things considered I think you are right, you have to downgrade him. But I think his current ADP is far too high considering the issues.Assuming he does go to the Jets or the Ravens....you have to downgrade him, right?
The Broncos have 2 choices at this point since he's decided not to be a part of the team (he's shown up to avoid fines and that's all). Suspend him a la T.O. or Keyshawn and get nothing for him, or deal him. They are dealing him.The Jets have no problem wheeling and dealing. Tannenbaum has shown that over the last 2 years. Ozzie and the Ravens are very protective of their draft picks. They won't give up the required 1st and 5th (or whatever) it will take to get BM. It'll be the Jets. Getting a contract extension figured out as part of the deal will be necessary, and I suspect that's taking time.I'm willing to bet this is just flubber.
Man, that makes sense on so many levels. Please let him wind up in Chicago.
XWho on Twitter? So where is the rumor coming from exactly?
Jets FO continues to say they'd trade for a WR.The asking price of a 1st and 4th is a BIT much for my liking, though.Jets, please.....I dont want Flacco actually getting a good WR. If he does goto Balt, Flacco gets bumped up my boards, Rice, Marhsall, Mason....thats nice.
who just overpaid on a 1st round pick and doesnt want to do that again next year on an unproven guy?
you don't make a play for a #1 WR like Marshall to remain a "primarily running team". the cost for this kind of deal - to the Broncos and the new contract to Marshall - would seem to support a shift in philosophy. It is so hard to say. He is definitely a top 10 talent. He has injury problems. I thought his ADP was lower than it is. He is being drafted as WR #14 and overall pick 39, so he is early fourth round in a 12 team league. It does if you believe Denver would openly invite a PR nightmare by reuniting Marshall with his buddy Cutler in Chicago. Especially considering Denver holds Chicago's 1st round pick next year. Why not get the Bears that missing piece to their offense for this season and reunite a couple of Broncos who could have very productive years for a decade?Man, that makes sense on so many levels. Please let him wind up in Chicago.

All that does is search for the words "Brandon Marshall."
