Hey Guys,Trying to make sure I got this right.

This week's prime example was the Giants. They called their last timeout with 2:43 left. That meant all Indy had to do was use 3 seconds on the next play (which they obviously did) and now the timeout was completely wasted. Had they not called the T.O. Inday would have run 1 more play before the 2-minute warning. Instead they burned the timeout and Indy ran ... 1 more play before the 2-minute warning.

Did I have that correct?Thanks.J

Yeah, it would appear it did not help conserve time. If they could have used the time out about 10 seconds earlier it would have forced the Colts to run two plays before the two minute warning. So I guess the moral of the story is calling a time out with 3 minutes to go is OK, calling one with 2:45 is a waste.
