Fair Value for Gordon? (1 Viewer)

Need to make a move to better my situation at QB and WR. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to address both. My biggest chip right now is Melvin Gordon and I wonder what any now-former Gordon owners were able to garner in a trade? I've been offered Stafford, Asiata and Pitta for Gordon, Smith and Kelce. I've been rolling with Eli and Alex Smith this season, WR has been an equal cess pool, with Jarvis Landry my best option week-to-week. I don't see my getting very far with these situations, and this offer doesn't excite me.

I stand at 4-3, going 4-1 after 0-2 start. I am 4th in scoring (have the most PA), tied for 3rd in divsion, with the top 3 scoring teams in my division. For reference here is the roster before waivers tonight

12-team, non-PPR

QB - Eli Manning and Alex Smith

RB - David Johnson, CJ Anderson, Melvin Gordon, TJ Yeldon, Andre Ellington, Don Jackson --who'll I will be cutting

WR - Dez Bryant, Jarvis Landry, Jordan Matthews, Cam Meredith

TE - Eifert and Kelce

Best options on WW is Adams, Boldin, Crowder, LaFell, Marquise Lee for WR, and QB is so bad it's not worth mentioning. One team I'm looking at to deal with is in my division, stands at 2-5, with Winston on his bench and ARob among his receivers.

I agree you need to upgrade your QB, but Stafford isn't the answer (His schedule gets rough the rest of the way) I think you should be able to do better than that for Gordon....

Ahhh I see you are looking at targeting Jamies... I would go for him over Staff at this point.

Also, Dez is back. That "should" (Knocks on wood) inprove your WR position at least

Terrible offer IMO. I dont see a big difference between Stafford and Smith. Now way I send Gordon and Kelce for Asiata and Pitta. Not even close.

I agree guys--that offer didn't excite me either. What hurts any trade offer I make is these damn fantasy experts who keep publishing articles that Gordon is a sell high, is ineffecient, blah blah blah, that might make it hard to get max value.

Trade Anderson then if you can get more??? Screw the "Sell high" stuff if it's turning others off (those articles only do anyone any good if you're the ONLY one who reads them! lol)

I like Gordon alot more than CJ for the rest of the year anyway!!!

The Booker owner is pretty set at RB, doesn't have much to offer me for a WR or QB unfortunately. He'd be the guy to make the most sense to trade to if I had to move CJ. I don't think outside of him I'd get the great a return.

Hmm you got decent depth but no " oh sh!t" guys. Maybe try packaging eifert with Gordon or CJA and get that game changer. There's some under performing wr out there. Try to take advantage of a desperate owner.  Doubt you can cover both qb and wr positions with that but shoot for the highest ceiling with whatever spot you can.

I can see a few pretty desperate teams, like the one who was lowest scorer this week. He has Jordy and Hopkins at WR, and of his QB's Carr is someone I liked coming into the season. The caveat is he's 3-4 but in 2nd in his division (my division somehow is stacked even though we draw divisions randomly before the draft). Still, only one game separates him from being in last. In that same division, the team who offered me a deal I just rejected has OBJ, Marshall and Cobb at WR.

Team I play this week has Big Ben and Mariota, and Kelvin Benjamin, but I'd rather get a sure W this week. His RB's might be the sorriest I've seen in a long time. Ironically, he owned Gordon last year while I owned Woodhead.

Looks like this topic was a waste to start--CJ Anderson suddenly injured and out for "a few weeks". Looks like I'm stuck with this hurd of crap QB's and WR's.
