Falcons And Bengals Game Thread (1 Viewer)

Bad job by Leonard in ball security.

I think they marked it off correctly but the ref announced the roughing the passer personal foul as ten yards.

Dalton badly under throws Green on a bomb. Blew past Samuel and should have had a TD. Pretty much picking up where he left off last year.

Another missed deep TD to Green on an overthrow that was late. Dalton really needs to get his crap together on the deep passes. He sucked on them all last year too.

According to the Bengals' official Twitter page, running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis will sit out the team's second preseason game. Green-Ellis is dealing with foot soreness.Analysis: The Bengals are also without running back Bernard Scott, who will miss all of the preseason with a hand injury. We expect Green-Ellis to be ready for Week 1 and to handle the majority of the team's carries. A third straight double-digit touchdown season is in reach for the "Law Firm." Consider him a No. 2 RB in 12-team leagues.
Knew Ellis was out but I didn't know Scott was.

Gresham will not return with what looked like knee/ankle injury when he was tackled. He was walking it off on sideline earlier.

Matty Ice looks like he always does to me. Like a REALLY good QB. Not a great QB. I think the thread predicting a top 5 season from him are a wee bit overblown.

so if turner is slowing down, do we really think rodgers has what it takes to carry the load? can ATL homers enlighten us on a darker horse that could become the bellcow if and when turner falters? tia

As recently as last week, I heard people saying "Whoa... it's a little premature to rank Julio ahead of Roddy."

Is there really any question now? JJ looks superhuman.

Haha. Trying to convince yourself, I see. CIN is a good defense and he is on pace for over 300 yds in the game--yeah...real bad ;) .UPDATE: and a TD, to boot.

Who said he was bad? I just said he's not top 5. He will not outperform Brees/Brady/Rodgers/Stafford/Cam/Eli. I think he'll be on par with the Rivers/Romo/Vick/Ben. Very good but I don't see him top 5/6.

I don't get why Cam and Eli are ranked so high. I'd put them in the Rivers/Romo/Vick/Ben group before Ryan.

AJ green is a man among boys in year 2. He would have had about 140 yards and 2 tds if dalton would have hit him when he was open. He under threw him on one, over threw him in the end zone when he was wide open and them hit him on the last one. He's ridiculous. He looks like moss out there. Dalton just has to learn to do the culpepper and throw it as hard as he can and let green run under it.

He tried that and threw it out of the back of the end-zone. :lmao:

Yeah, it works better when it's not just a 40 yd pass.
