Falcons lost both offensive tackles (1 Viewer)

God forbid, some of us have to rely on Falcons this week. However, if that is the case (only Falcon I have in any of my leagues is Crumpler) the loss of both the left and right tackles should be a huge impact on their offense and make the NYGs a must start D/ST.

How do you think Petrino will approach the game? Go spread offense, keep the TEs in, run the heck out of the ball, don't change a thing and hope for the best? Could be a long night for Joey. What say y'all?

Petrino is too new in the NFL to tell tendencies at this point. I can tell you this. At TEN, even tho Joey was getting pummelled, I never saw them do anything remotely resembing a max protect package.

The only straw I can grasp is that two line-men are now "Petrino guys". Blalock and Foster. But I think Foster is playing tackle and is normally a guard. Clabo has experience in the NFL having started 10 games last year, but also at guard. I HOPE that they will utilize Crumpler's size and strength over the middle to try to slow down the pass rush. They did that well with Dunn against Houston, but did not do it all against TEN. Crump is just simply a crap shoot at this point, but of the Falcons to start, White and Crump are the ones.

But it's more likely that Joey will get a good view of the Dome ceiling. You know, you'd think the football gods would compensate by letting me have awesome fantasy teams, wouldn't you?
