I set up a 20 player league $5 entry.

There are some shenanigans going on at FanDuel related to the username/number of wins. We've known that since last year, some people (not sure how) are able to display no information for their wins - it doesn't say "NFL: 0 NBA: 0" etc.... its just that the line for wins in different sports is missing and all that is displayed is the username.
Today I found a new one... user bjbj who's name doesn't appear as a link. It's just plain text. You can't click on it to see their profile and how many thousands of wins he has, nor does the applet work. You can find him now if you roam the $2 leagues, 4-10 section. He's a name I see frequently and know to avoid (no condia, but he's got several thousands of wins on me, iirc).
Is there some way to report this to FD? Obviously some people are gaming their system and manipulating the website to their advantage. It's a rather small thing, but if you're able to manipulate a website like that, sort calls into question some of the integrity of other things people could be able to do.

Back in the saddle again -- if Hillman sits, I'm guessing CJ Anderson will be owned by the masses.
Tough matchup @ home vs DET, but Stanton is $5900. Probably too much downside for me, but he'll have some ownership.

McKinnon for 5500 @ CHI is intriguing -- he's still getting touches, just overshadowed by the TDs of Asiata and ADs potential comeback.

Benjamin + Newton = 14400 @ home vs ATL -- I like the ring of that.
Antonio Brown is a no brainer this week...he's a lock for 12-14 with a high ceiling. No chance he goes two bad games in a row. @ TEN this week.
Really like Antonio Gates to get open early and often vs OAK in SD.

I found that users profile on FanDuel and it says
User suspended or deactivated

Interesting. I doubt someone with a ton of wins would delete their account after entering a handful of new games. But, why would he get suspended? Anyways sounds like I interpreted the plain text user name as another username hack, when for whatever reason, its just a dead profile.

Could be some distinction that blank = no games played, zero = games played but no wins.

This is correct. If you look at my profile, for instance, I've played MLB, NBA, and CFB contests in the past, but never won one. I've never played NHL or CBB.

I'm about done trying to roster upside value at TE, but to go w/ a stud there means finding savings elsewhere. Pickings look slim at RB at 1st blush, although Anderson could be nice value depending on injury situation.

I'm going to be stacking Sanchez/Matthews again this week, I see no reason not to. Sadly, Matthews isn't likely to be under 5% owned again.

How did Sanchez's price change if they played MNF? Shady, Matthews, and others are presumably still the same. Have a hard time going back to the well on Shady... if he had put up just 12 points or so last night, I would've been much happier today. The early TD that Sproles vultured was tough.

Jared Cook at $4800 last week was my.. Play everywhere TE.. coming in with a healthy 15.4 was worth it..This week .. Rivera at $5800, Health Miller at $5100 or for slightly more, but less then Gronk, Thomas or Graham.. Gates at $6700, are Decent plays..
I'd go with Kyle Rudolph as it looks good he will play vs. the Bears.. But he is not listed on FD, even though they do list ADP

That is an interesting question. How can you do anything to get suspended the way the site is set up. There's no chat, you can't get behind on your account since the money is deposited before you play, maybe some question of legality in his state or where his legal residence is?

I wouldn't touch him this week. It looks like the high that day is going to be 25 degrees with a chance of snow and a significant wind. That isn't a recipe for good passing numbers when a guy isn't great nor has a high ceiling in the first place.Yea.. thinking over.. Tasty match-up since it should be a shootout..

If you think Cook is anything more than the ultimate hit once in a while, suck the rest of the time play, good luck with that. I watched him fail to realize expectations for years, then attitude himself out of town. Phenomenal physical talent, absolute head case.

TE seems to be more of a momentum position than a matchup position. I'm typically looking for a TE that's hot, on a team that's predicted to score at least 3 TDs (vegas odds).
Last week I went Rivera assuming Oak was gonna throw a ton, and he had been hot. Also was at home and vs a beaten up LB core. Seemed like a no brainer when I added it all up and it paid off.

The algorithm that produces weekly values, does anyone know how heavily it weighs previous weeks ownership percentages? For instance, McCoy saw about a 14% increase in price from last week where as Matthews only saw a marginal increase yet performance would indicate the inverse should be true.
It depends on what site you're talking about, but FanDuel and DraftKings both release the next week's prices before the current week's MNF game, so they wouldn't take McCoy's or Matthews' Week 10 performances into account at all.
I don't know whether they consider the previous week's ownership percentages in their pricing.

Hi, I am very new to daily fantasy football games. I have been playing fantasy football for over 20 years and this is my 1st time trying this. I have a few questions if you could answer, I would really appreciate it...
1. Is it really hard to profit bc you are giving them a 20% rake?
2. Do you do better in tournaments, 50/50, etc?
3. Right now I have been going to a site I found called dailyfantasysportspicks.com and I have been choosing their bargain players.Then I skip their bust players, and fill the rest in with players I like and I have won 80-90 of my games, although I am only playing 5.00 50/50's just to get my feet wet. Do u guys know of any other sites that offer free daily picks of who to play or not play etc?
4. Do you play other sports as well, or just the NFL. Are basketball or hockey much harder to win, do u have any strategy or advice to give me?

It's not a 20% rake, it's 10% (although the rake varies by contest type and entry fee, so some are higher or lower than 10%).
